04/24/2017 03:13- 194 PTL JONATHAN DOWNS STOLEN PROPERTY
EAST BALTIMORE AVE.

While on routine patrol, officer was alerted by the license plate reader equipped in marked patrol vehicle that a vehicle that just passed was stolen. The subject was subsequently taken into custody.


04/25/2017 14:00- 111 PTL DAVID SCHIAZZA FRAUD
UNIT BLK. SOUTH UNION AVE.

Police were called to Union Ave. for a report of a theft discovered. Upon arrival, complainant states that there had been five fraudulent bank checks created with the name of the business. Investigation is continuing.


04/25/2017 19:52- S29 SGT KEVIN KIENZLE FRAUD-CREDIT CARDS
UNIT BLK. N. LANSDOWNE AVE

Officer was flagged down by store manager who reported that a woman had called the store’s business phone number to report that her credit card had been used in an unauthorized transaction. Investigation is continuing.


04/26/2017 10:30- S30 SGT CHRISTOPHER SCHIAZZA ROBBERYSTRONG ARM
UNIT BLK. McKINLEY AVE.

Call was for a domestic, but upon investigation, it was discovered offender had an active warrant and did assault and force money from victim. Subject arrested.


04/27/2017 10:00- 119 PTL KEVIN P MCDERMOTT FRAUD-CREDIT CARDS
SCOTTDALE RD.

Two unauthorized transactions were made on the victim’s debit card. The victim has already contacted the Franklin Mint and the card was cancelled. Investigation continues.


04/27/2017 21:42 – 194 PTL JONATHAN DOWNS DUI
NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.

Report of a two vehicle accident with no reported injuries. The initial dispatch indicated that it may be a road rage incident. As a result of the accident, driver arrested for DUI.

Police were called to school for an assault on the principal. Investigation continues.


04/30/2017 01:06 – 120 PTL JONATHAN MCGOWAN DISORDERLY CONDUCT
NORTH UNION AVE.

While on routine patrol, a vehicle was observed going through a red light. Upon stopping vehicle, officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Car towed and subject cited.

100 BLK. WEST BALTIMORE AVE

Police were dispatched to the 100 block of East Baltimore Avenue for a report of a shoplifter. Subject gone when officers arrived.


04/30/2017 19:22- S29 SGT KEVIN KIENZLE DUI
EAST GREENWOOD AVE.

Subject arrested for DUI after being stopped for driving erratically.
