Police Blotter 04-15-19 to 04-21-19

04/15/2019 02:57- CURFEW VIOLATION
ESSEX & OWEN AVE.

While on routine patrol, officer observed two juvenile males in violation of Lansdowne Borough Curfew Ordinance. Both males were subsequently detained and returned to Lansdowne Police Department for further investigation. Suspects are under investigation in for the recent theft from vehicles.


04/15/2019 05:40- ASSAULT
12 EAST BALTIMORE AVE.

Juvenile offender charged with assault and other related charges.


04/16/2019 02:36- DUI
LANSDOWNE & MARSHALL RD

An adult male was charged with DUI.


04/17/2019 12:30- CRIMINAL MISCHIEF TO AUTOMOBILE
WOODLAND AVE.

The victim reported criminal mischief to her vehicle that occurred overnight. The victim’s vehicle was parked out front of home when its rear windshield was broken and her vehicle spray painted with obscenities.


04/17/2019 17:08- THEFT FROM BUILDING
SOUTH UNION AVE.

The victim came to the Lansdowne Police Headquarters to report a theft of a package. The victim reported that she was expecting a package to be delivered. She got confirmation of delivery through a tracking number and when she returned home around 1615 hours, she discovered the package was miSSing.


04/17/2019 21:02- CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
EAST STRATFORD AVE.

Lansdowne Police were called to East Stratford A venue for a report of vandalism that had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers met with the victims who reported the glass to their front storm door was broken.


04/17/2019 21:11- RETAIL THEFT
EAST BALTIMORE AVE.

Police were dispatched to a business that is located on E. Baltimore Ave., for a report of retail theft that just occurred. The actors were reported to have left the scene in a vehicle that was last seen traveling north on N. Maple Ave. Upon arrival, officers checked the area but did not locate the vehicle.


04/21/2019 03:14- MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
WEST PLUMSTEAD AVE.

While on routine patrol in the area of Wycombe & Lacrosse Avenues, officers heard an accident at the intersection of Wycombe & Stewart Avenues. It was observed to be a one vehicle accident into a light pole on the south east corner of the intersection. The vehicle then fled the area East on Stewart Avenue toward East Lansdowne. Debris at the scene revealed it was a dark blue vehicle with front end damage. ELPD observed the vehicle in East Lansdowne. Before officers activated their emergency lights, the occupants of the vehicle bailed out of the vehicle in the area of Long Lane and Wildwood Avenue and ran south on Wildwood Avenue.


04/21/2019 18:00- THEFT FROM VEHICLE
NORTH HIGHLAND AVE.

Police responded for a theft from vehicle. The victim reported that her vehicle was entered and cash was taken from the glove box. The contents in the glove box and center console were rummaged through. The vehicle was left unlocked while parked out front of the residence.
