03/18/2019 08:47- PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS
PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL
Police were dispatched to the Penn Wood High School for a report of a student in the Principal’s office who arrived late for school and was under the influence of drugs. Officers responded to the high school and confirmed that the student was under the influence of marijuana. The defendant will be mailed a citation.
03/18/2019 13:36- ASSAULT
PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL
The Lansdowne police received a report of a fight at Penn Wood High School between three female students. Upon police arrival, all students were separated and located in the school principal’s office. Upon viewing the school surveillance video of the incident, it was apparent that this was an assault on one of the students by the other two and not a mutual fight. A meeting will be scheduled with the parents and teens to give them an opportunity to mediate the situation and avoid future problems.
03/19/2019 16:20- HARASSMENT BY COMMUNICATION
EAST BALTIMORE AVE.
The victim reports that he is being harassed by a stalker who he identified as an ex-boyfriend. He states that the suspect has also been calling his place of employment as well as harassing his other ex-boyfriend through phone calls and text. Investigation to continue.
03/22/2019 07:20- MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
Lansdowne Police were dispatched to Willowbrook Ave for a stolen motor vehicle that just occurred. Information from the victim reports that his vehicle had been taken and that the keys were with the vehicle. There was an unknown direction of travel. Auto was recovered in Clifton Height later the same day.
03/23/2019 11:37- DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
UNION & BARTRAM AVE.
Police were dispatched to S Union Ave and Bartram Ave for a singlevehicle accident into a telephone pole with injuries reported. The driver was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence. He was transported to Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital for a blood test.
03/23/2019 15:00- CRIMINAL MISCHIEF TO AUTO
EAST PLUMSTEAD AVE.
The Lansdowne police received a report of vandalism to vehicle. Upon our arrival, the victim stated that the listed vehicle was parked across the street from her home. This afternoon, she discovered that the middle passenger window was shattered. No items were determined to be missing at this time. The investigation is continuing.
03/24/2019 10:58- CONTEMPT OF COURT (DOMESTIC)
WEST ESSEX AVE.
Police were dispatched toW. Essex Ave., for a report of a domestic involving a mother and her son. Homeowner advised that the son was refusing to leave the home. The LPD had responded to this address yesterday and the victim had dropped of an Order Granting Emergency Relief from Abuse that she had filed against him. Subject was taken into custody.
