Police activity week of 12-29-14 through 01-04-15

12-29-1400:35 hours – Ptl. T. Landau – Assault
N. Lansdowne & Baltimore Aves. – This officer was flagged down while on patrol the victim stated that her brother had just beaten her up. The brother was in the rear of the vehicle. He was yelling and cursing. The offender was taken into custody and will be charged appropriately.


12-29-1421:30 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft- under $50 from auto
Unit block Schappet Ter. – The victim came to LPD to report that someone had gone through her unlocked vehicle overnight. Reported missing was a black lunch bag and some change.


12-30-14 18:13 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Disorderly conduct
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – One offender taken into custody for shoplifting.


12-20-1420:30 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft- $200 & over from buildings
Unit block S. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reported that theft of his cell phone at the Lansdowne Library. The phone, a Samsung Galaxy S4 with a black folding charging case.


01-02-1507:07 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell – Burglary-attempt-residence-day
100 block Woodland Ave. -The victim states he was inside his home when he heard someone attempting to pull open the locked storm door. The actor may have heard the victim and did run from the area.


01-02-1508:04 hours – Sgt. C. Schiazza – Burglary-no force-residence
100 block Windsor Ave. – The victim reported a burglary at his home. Missing from the home were a video game system, controllers and games. Entry may have been made through the unlocked basement door.


01-03-15 03:35 hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Theft- attempted-from auto
100 block W. Plumstead Ave. – The victim reports a theft attempt from his vehicle. The victim did see a black male getting into his vehicle. The victim yelled at the male and the actor left the area.


01-03-1508:51 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Theft- under $50 from auto
Unit block Drexel Ave. – The victim stated that approximately $20.00 was taken from the center console of his unlocked vehicle.


01-03-1516:45 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Theft- $200 & over
Unit block N. Union Ave. – The victim reports a Christmas gift was taken from her front porch. The victim reports her granddaughter left the package on 12/26/14. She was unaware it was placed on the porch until 01-05-15.
