Police activity week of 12-26-11 through 01-01-12
12-26-11 10:39 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft-$50 to $200 bicycles
100 block Nyack Ave. – Police responded for report of a stolen bike. On arrival it was reported that a bike which had been a Christmas present for the victim was stolen off the front porch of the residence.
The bike was purchased at Walmart for $89.97. The bike is navy blue with orange letter.
12-26-11 22:22 hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Disorderly conduct
200 block Scottdale Rd. – At 22:22 hours while on patrol I observed a dark green vehicle parked on the side of the roadway. As this officer pulled behind the vehicle I observed a white male urinating on the side of the roadway. This officer made contact with the offender who stated he had to use the bathroom. The offender will be issued several citations via mail.
12-28-11 12:52 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Theft- $200 & over – from auto
200 Block Shadeland Ave. – The victim reported that her purse was stolen out of her vehicle as it was legally parked and unattended in front of Step by Step daycare.
12-29-11 19:22 hours – Ptl. T. Selimis – Disorderly conduct
Union & Baltimore Aves. – Police were dispatched to Union & Baltimore Aves. for threats in progress on the Septa bus. On arrival police made contact with the complainant, he stated the offender was yelling and that she was going to kick his ass. The offender was also yelling profanities at other patrons on the bus. The offender was advised to leave the bus. The offender stated she was not going anywhere. She was advised numerous times if she did not leave the bus she would be arrested. The offender refused and was taken into custody, cited for disorderly conduct and released.
01-01-12 09:29 hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Criminal mischief to auto
100 block Drexel Ave. – the victim reports that when she came out to her vehicle this morning she observed that her windshield had been smashed. This officer observed a large rock lying beside her vehicle. The windshield had two large spider web cracks and the front driver side quarter panel had a small dent in it from the rock.
