Police activity week of 12-22-14 through 12-28-14
12-22-14 14:12 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Disorderly conduct
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – One offender taken into custody for disorderly conduct.
12-22-14 14:00 hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Criminal mischief
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – Responded for call of an unknown male who had punched the glass door and shattered same at the Papa John’s. The male did leave the area.
12-24-14 19:34 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft- $200 & over from auto
100 block Glentay Ave. – A resident reported that he had seen two black males behind the garage next to his building. He called out “What are you doing there?” The men then left the area. This officer did check the area of the garage and found a briefcase with the name of the owner inside the case. Owner was contacted. The owner stated his vehicle had been entered, there was no forced entry. Still missing from the auto was a computer and power cord.
12-25-1401:35 hours – Ptl. C. Parker – Disorderly conduct-public places
E. LaCrosse Ave. – Located four males in the park. An odor of burnt marijuana could be smelled emanating from all of the males. Paraphernalia was located. All will be issued citations.
12-26-14 10:15 hours – Ptl. c. Craig – Burglary-forced entry-residence-unk time
Unit block W. Greenwood Ave. – The victim states when he came home, he noticed the basement door chain lock from the kitchen to the basement was broken. He went into the basement and noticed that a basement window had been broken. Nothing else appears to be disturbed in the home.
12-26-14 11:56 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft- $200 & over from building
Unit block Willowbrook Ave. – The victim stated while preparing a holiday dinner, he and his wife discovered that their silver cutlery was missing from the kitchen.
12-27-1420-51 hours – Sgt. C. Schiazza – Robbery-armed-firearm-highway
N. Wycombe & E. Stratford Aves. – The victims, both male and female, were robbed by two black males. Both actors were reported to show and point firearms at the victims. The actors did take the victims phones. This investigation will continue.
