Police activity week of 12-21-15 through 12-27-15

12-21-15 16:00 hours – Ptl. c. Craig – Disorderly conduct
W. Marshall Rd & Eldon Ave. – One offender cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana.

12-21-15 21:10 hours – Ptl. J. Downs – Theft- $200 & over
100 block N. Wycombe Ave. – the victim reports that two packages were stolen off of his porch last week. The total value of the merchandise was approximately $230.00.

12-22-15 11:24 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Burglary-no force-residence
100 block Owen Ave. – The victim is selling residence. The home is vacant at the time and was burglarized with copper piping stolen. There was no forced entry into the residence.

12-22-1517:10 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Assault
100 block Green Ave. PWHS – The victim reports being assaulted by a student on Monday 12/21/15. The incident was not reported to the school staff. The student/offender struck the victim with her elbow and also verbally harassed her after she would not allow the offender to enter her classroom. The offender was not allowed into the classroom because she was late, a test was in progress and she had a cell phone in violation of class rules.

12-24-15 17:51 hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Assaults
Unit block W. Essex Ave. – Dispatched for a domestic assault, complainant’s father and uncle involved. Once out the uncle was gone. Mom & Dad reported that the uncle punched the Dad and fled the area.

12-26-15 12:19 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Burglary-attempt-residence
Unit block E. Plumstead Ave. – The victim reports that an unknown actor(s) attempted to enter his home. Screens were lifted on the living room windows, no entry made into the residence.

12-26-15 16:08 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Public drunkenness
W. Greenwood &Ardmore Aves. – Police were dispatched to a domestic between a father and son. The son fled the home. Located the offender and he was taken into custody. The offender will be charged with public drunkenness and contempt of court for violation of a PFA.

12-26-15 15:59 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft- $200 & over
100 block S. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reports her cell phone was taken. The phone was tracked to a business in Chester.

12-27-15 15:28 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft- under $50
Unit block E. Essex Ave. – The victim discovered a package she had ordered was opened and the item stolen.
