S. Wycombe Ave.
Responded to the area of S. Wycombe Avenue for the report of a subject with a gun. Upon further investigation the offender was placed in custody and returned to LPD, where appropriate charges were filed.
12/19/2016 10:31 – S29 SGT KEVIN KIENZLE
300 Blk Barker Ave
Police responded to an attempted theft from vehicle. On arrival, victim states that some time on Sunday December 18 2016, unknown actor(s) forced entry into his vehicle. Nothing was taken in the theft attempt.
12/20/2016 14:05 – S29 SGT KEVIN KIENZLE
Unit Blk W. Essex Ave.
Victim came to the Lansdowne Police Station to report damage to his vehicle. He stated that the vehicle was vandalized in his driveway sometime between midnight and noon on Monday December 19 2016. He stated that he does not know who vandalized his vehicle or why.

Unit Blk W. Baltimore Ave.
The victim stated that on 11/25/2016 she made an online purchase. On 11/27/2016 she received a notification from UPS that her package was delivered to her condominium building. Upon returning to her apartment building on the evening of 11/27/2016 the package was not there.
12/21/2016 06:32 – 111 PTL DAVID SCHIAZZA Theft from Vehicle
200 Blk N. Wycombe Ave.
Officers were dispatched 200 blk of N. Wycombe Ave. for a report of a theft discovered. Upon arrival we spoke with the complainant who reported that his company’s van had been broken into and items were stolen from the vehicle while it had been parked in his driveway.
12/21/2016 11:00 – 117 PTL CHRISTOPHER CRAIG Theft from Vehicle
Unit Blk E. Stewart Ave.
Complainant reported that her vehicle had been entered sometime overnight. Victim states that she parked her vehicle in her driveway at approximately 18:00hrs on 12-20-2016. She states that at approximately 05:30hrs today’s date, her husband found the car door ajar. Victim states that the car was unlocked and that the only thing missing right now is the registration card.
12/22/2016 18:09 – 110 PTL MARK MCGINNIS Theft from Auto
200 Blk Green Ave
The complainant reported that on the morning of 12/21/16 she noticed that her vehicle was entered and gone through but nothing was missing so she didn’t report it immediately. Upon reviewing security footage, two males were seen attempting to gain entrance to her vehicle. Investigation will continue.
12/22/2016 18:58 – 110 PTL MARK MCGINNIS Theft from Building
Unit blk Windermere Ave.
The complainant came to the Lansdowne Police to report a burglary at his apartment. When he got home he noticed that his apartment had been entered and noticed things missing from his apartment. The complainant was sure his apartment was secure when he left and he found it secure when he got home, he indicated there was no evidence of damage or forced entry to the door.
12/22/2016 21:14 – 119 PTL KEVIN P MCDERMOTT Robbery – Strong Arm
LPD responded to a strong arm robbery that occurred in the area of S. Wycombe Avenue/Septa Tracks where the victim was knocked to the ground, assaulted and robbed. The actors involved were stopped at S. Union Avenue/ Fairview Avenue and found to be in possession of the victim’s belongings and also a computer later reported to be stolen from a vehicle on W. Plumstead Ave. All four juvenile offenders were taken in to custody and later transported to the Juvenile Detention Center in Lima.

200 Blk Green Ave.
Police responded to a theft discovered. On arrival, victim stated that packages that had been dropped off on her door step had been stolen. The actor(s) then took the packages across the street and opened them. The actor(s) apparently did not want the contents and just left the items in the driveway.
12/24/2016 05:00 – 194 PTL JONATHAN DOWNS Burglary
East Marshall Rd.
Police dispatched to an audible alarm on E. Marshall Rd, activation point was rear door motion. Upon arrival police discovered broken rear glass on the rear door and an open exterior and interior rear door. At the time of the burglary, no items appeared to be missing from the residence.
12/25/2016 00:38 – 121 PTL MICHAEL AMMON Assault
Unit Blk West Greenwood Ave.
At the above date and time DELCOM dispatched Lansdowne Police to Delaware County Memorial Hospital for a report of a stabbing victim. Upon questioning, victim stated that her boyfriend was stroking a knife across his arm, stating that he was going to kill himself when he cut victim on her left ankle/ shin. When officers checked the well being of the suicidal subject, narcotics and drug paraphernalia were found inside the apartment. Three subjects inside the apartment were taken into custody.
