Police activity week of 12/12/16 to 12/18/16

West Marshall Rd.

Officer attempted to stop vehicle for a traffic violation on West Marshall Road. The vehicle operator failed to yield and eventually abandoned the vehicle. The driver fled on foot and the vehicle was towed to Herby’s. The investigation is ongoing.

100 Blk. Drexel Ave.

Subject violated court order evicting him from the property. Charged with Criminal contempt.

100 Blk. N. Union Ave

The Lansdowne Police responded to 100 Blk N. Union Avenue for a report of a theft from a vehicle. Missing is a passport and wallet.

12/13/2016 13:28 – 117 PTL CHRISTOPHER CRAIG Burglary
The Lansdowne Police responded to a home on the 200 Blk of Wabash Avenue for a report of a burglary discovered. Taken was jewelry and contents of drawers were thrown about.

12/13/2016 18:50- 117 PTL CHRISTOPHER CRAIG Fraud – Credit Card Theft
Unit Block of Plumstead Ave

The Lansdowne Police responded to unit block of Plumstead Avenue for a report of fraud. On location the victim, states that she attempted to purchase an item on line and was declined. Investigation to continue.

12/13/2016 21:50- 119 PTL KEVIN P MCDERMOTT Theft from Vehicle
Unit block East Stewart Ave.

The victim reported that approximately $10.00 in U.S. currency was taken from his vehicle. The vehicle was parked in the driveway and left unlocked.

12/14/2016 12:30 – S26 SGT JAMES MCCAUGHAN Burglary
100 blk McKinley Ave.

Lansdowne Police received a report of a burglary discovered at 100 block McKinley Ave. This was discovered when the victim returned home. Also taken were tools from the garage.

12/14/2016 17:21- 115 PTL LAWRENCE ALBERTOLI Retail Theft
CVS East Baltimore Ave.

Dispatched to the CVS for a report of a shoplifter, not in custody. The caller advised the radio room that the actor was taking items from the lotion aisle.

12/15/2016 13:24 – 195 PTL DYLAN J HABERLE- Theft
Unit block S. Union Ave

Lansdowne Police received a walk in complaint of a stolen package from the listed victim’s residence. The victim reported that he received a delivery confirmation from FED EX. When he returned home the package appeared to have been stolen.

12/16/2016 08:28 – 194 PTL JONATHAN DOWNS- Theft from Building
Unit blk. Martin Dr.

On Friday December 16th, 2016 at approximately 0828hrs Lansdowne Police were dispatched to Martin Dr for a report of a theft discovered. Taken was a snow blower from the front of property.

12/16/2016 16:00 – 117 PTL CHRISTOPHER CRAIG Retail Theft
Unit blk North Lansdowne Ave

The Lansdowne Police responded to N. Lansdowne Avenue, the Dollar Tree for a report of two shoplifters inside the store. On location, officer was flagged down by the reporting party who stated that the actors had just left the parking lot and were heading east on E. LaCrosse Avenue After a vehicle stop the subject was taken into custody and charged with retail theft.

12/17/2016 01:25 – 115 PTL LAWRENCE ALBERTOLI DUI
W. Baltimore Ave.

While on patrol, officer observed a driver slumped over the wheel of a vehicle. After investigation, it was determined that the driver was DUI. Subject was arrested, provided a blood sample, processed and arraigned.

North Wycombe Ave

While on patrol in the area of N. Wycombe Ave. and E. Stewart in a marked police patrol, officer observed a tan Toyota Camry on N. Wycombe Ave. just south of the intersection of N. Wycombe Ave. and E. Stewart Ave. that was running with a male slumped over the wheel. When awoken, an odor of alcohol was detected. Subject was field tested and arrested for DUI.
