Police activity week of 12-1-14 through 12-07-14

12-02-14 02:43 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Public drunkenness
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – Offender would not leave the store after causing a disturbance. The offender was intoxicated. She was taken into custody and will be cited for public drunkenness.

12-02-14 09:10 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Theft- $200 & over- from auto
200 block N. Maple Ave. – The victim reports work products removed from his truck. The tool compartment was unlocked.

12-02-14 11:29 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Vandalism
Willowbrook Ave. – Graffiti was found on the cement around the manhole cover in the back of Marlyn Park.

12-02-14 17:27 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Assaults
100 Green Ave. PWHS- Police responded for an assault that had just occurred. Actors reportedly fled the scene. The victim and witness reported that four or five black males came out of nowhere and started punching the victim before fleeing the scene.

12-03-14 07:39 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Disorderly conduct
100 Green Ave. PWHS – Responded for disorderly subjects. Parents were notified the offenders would be cited for disorderly conduct. Offenders released to the custody of their parents.

12-04-14 14:08 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft- under $50 – retail theft Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – The offender was taken into custody after attempting to steal a radio/cd player from the store. The offender was cited for retail theft and advised he is no longer welcome at the store.

12-04-14 13:30 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Harassment
Unit block S. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim came to LPD to report harassment by a former employee.

12-06-14 10:13 hours – Ptl. C. Parker – Theft- under $50-retail theft
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – Report of retail theft at the Rite Aid Store. The actor did exit the store and was last seen running East on Baltimore Avenue.

12-06-14 18:50 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Criminal mischief
Nyack & S. Wycombe Ave. – While on patrol, this officer noticed vandalism to a stop sign. On the stop sign on the NW corner of the intersection of Nyack & S. Wycombe Aves, there is black spray paint.

12-07-14 11:22 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Criminal mischief to autos
200 block N. Lansdowne Ave. – Police responded to the listed location for criminal mischief to vehicle.

12-07-14 22:27 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Sex offense
Ardmore & W. Essex Aves. – Police dispatched for an indecent act in progress. The reporting party stated two subjects were fornicating in a parked vehicle on Ardmore Avenue. Two were taken into custody for open lewdness and disorderly conduct.
