Police activity week of 12-09-13 through 12-15-13

12-09-13 15:27 hours – Ptl. T. Selimis – Assault to rape-attempt-knife or cutting instrument
100 block Woodland Ave. – Police dispatched for a domestic, a woman heard screaming. Located the victim. The victim stated that she met a man on the internet. The offender came to her home for the evening. The offender did attempt to rape and did assault the victim and fled the scene. With the help of officers from other towns we were able to apprehend the offender.


12-12-13 lS:3S hours – Ptl. C. Brown – Theft- $200 & over from buildings
200 block Wabash Ave. – The victim reports theft and vandalism to her home. The victim believes it was a male that was given permission to stay at the home. The victim provided a list of items damaged and missing. Value of items approximately $2,300.00.


12-12-13 15:S7 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Theft- $200 & over from buildings
Unit block S. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reports her cell phone, which was left in the bathroom at the Library, was now missing. Did check the bathroom and no phone was located. Value of phone $500.00.


12-12-13 18:15 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Theft- $200 & over from buildings
100 block Green Ave. (PWHS) -The victim reports her cell phone taken at the PWHS. The women’s son, while in class, was charging the phone on a borrowed charger. When he went to get the phone it was missing. The school will try to determine the name of the student who owned the charger and the student who was sitting near the phone.


12-13-13 08:52 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell- Burglary-forced entry- residence-unknown time
200 block N. Lansdowne Ave. – On police arrival spoke to the victim. The victim stated that copper piping had been stolen from the basement of the residence. The residence is vacant. Forced entry had been made through the rear basement door. The victim will contact police with a dollar value for the
loss.


12-15-13 09:30 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell- Theft- $200 & over from buildings
100 block S. Lansdowne Ave. – Responded for a report of a theft. Upon arrival was met by the victim. The victim explained that sometime overnight, after the latest snowfall, an unknown actor or actors stole four high efficiency air conditioning compressors for the exterior of the building. The missing compressors were each owned by a different condo owner. All victims’ will be contacted and interviewed.


12-15-13 09:30 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell- Theft- $200 & over from buildings
100 block S. Lansdowne Ave. – Theft of air conditioning compressors from condo. Connected to previous thefts.


12-15-13 09:30 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell- Theft- $200 & over from building

100 block S. Lansdowne Ave. – Attempted theft of air conditioning unit. Unit from this condo was damaged.
