Police activity week of 11-24-14 through 11-30-14
11-24-1407:30 hours – Ptl. c. Craig – Disorderly conduct
100 block Green Ave. PWHS – Responded to PWHS for a report of two juvenile males being detained for fighting inside the school. Both offenders will be cited for disorderly conduct.
11-24-1412:49 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Disorderly conduct
100 block Green Ave. PWHS – The victim reports that the offender attacked him. The offender was taken into custody and will be cited for disorderly conduct.
11-24-14 14:30 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Fraud
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reports that she has been a victim of fraud. This is a case involving the victim and her son.
11-24-14 18:40 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft- $50 to $200 – retail theft
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – Two offenders cited for retail theft from the Rite Aid and Bottom Dollar store.
11-25-14 10:14 hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Burglary-no force-residence-unknown time
Unit block E. Stratford Ave. – The victim is in the process of moving from this residence to Upper Darby Township. Upon her arrival at the residence today she noticed that the radiator in the kitchen was missing and most of the cooper piping in the basement was missing. There was no sign of forced entry into the residence.
11-25-14 13:20 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Burglary-forced entry-residence-day
Unit block Owen Ave. – Lansdowne Police responded to a burglary discovered. On arrival witnesses were interviewed, evidence was collected and photos were taken. A wallet and backpack reported stolen.
11-25-14 14:08 hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Theft-$50 to $200 – bicycles
Unit block E. Greenwood Ave. – The victim reports his 26″ Trek touring bike was taken from his property.
11-25-14 14:45 hours – Sgt. K. Rutherford – Fraud
100 block S. Lansdowne Ave. – The reporting party stated a contractor that had been hired to resurface the properties parking lot has not done the work and has cashed the check for half the cost of the project.
11-25-1420:33 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – All other-threats
Unit block Rose Ln. – The victim reported that a black male knocked on his door and threatened him. He does not know the male. The suspect left in a blue vehicle.
11-26-1407:29 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Theft- $50 to $200 – bicycles
Unit block Florence Ave. – A red/blue mountain bike was taken from the rear yard by an unknown black male. The actor was last seen riding the bike north on N. Wycombe Avenue towards E. Essex Avenue. Checked the area with negative results.
11-26-14 14:31 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Burglary-no force-residence-unknown time.
100 block Windsor Ave. – Police dispatched for an open front door. Police checked the residence which was empty. Copper was cut from the basement. There did not appear to be any forced entry.
11-27-14 15:48 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Disorderly conduct
Unit block Mansfield Rd. – Police responded for a 911 hang up. On arrival the call was determined to be a domestic. One person placed in custody and cited for disorderly conduct.
11-29-1412:08 hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Burglary-forced entry-nonresidence-unknown time.
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reports that someone had forced open her storage shed in the basement of the apartment complex. Several items were taken from the shed.
