Police activity week of 11-19-12 through 11-25-12

11-20-12 15:33 hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Criminal mischief to automobiles
N. Union & Greenwood Aves. – UDSD bus driver reported that he stopped his bus #11 at the intersection of Union & Greenwood on the Upper Darby side to discharge passengers when a rock was thrown from an unknown group of black male juveniles standing on Greenwood Avenue in Upper Darby Twp. The rock hit one of the side windows on the bus causing it to shatter. None of the students were injured.


11-21-12 22:27 hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Burglary-forced entry-residence-unknown time
Unit block N. Highland Ave. – the victim states one of his tenants called him about the basement door being kicked in. The victim reports nothing appears to be missing at this time, but is unsure about his tenant’s contents.


11-22-12 09:54 hours – Ptl. T. Selimis – theft $50 to $200 from buildings
22 block Crawford Ave. – Victim advised she discovered two outdoor end tables stolen from the side of her home.


11-23-12 18:23 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Disorderly conduct
Unit block s. Lansdowne Ave. – Police dispatched for a domestic. Made contact with the complainant who reported his girlfriend had her family member staying over. The complainant did not want the man to stay over. Both the complainant and girlfriend are on the lease. The girlfriend reported that the complainant had marijuana in the apartment and proceeded to retrieve the marijuana. Since the marijuana was in a common place in the shared apartment, both will be cited. The male family member was not asked to leave due to the girlfriend, who rightfully resides in the apartment wanting the family member to stay.


11-25-12 18:21 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Burglary-forced entry-residence-unknown time
100 block Blackburn Ave. – The victim stated that at some point between 11-22-12 and today’s date somebody entered her residence through the front window and took an Xbox 360. She is unsure if she locked the window.
