Police activity week of 11-17-14 through 11-23-14
11-17-1417:54 hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Burglary-attempt-residence-night
100 block Bartram Ave. – Dispatched for a burglary attempt that had just occurred. On arrival the homeowner reported that the rear door of his residence was kicked open. No one entered the residence.
11-18-1420:51 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Burglary-no force-residence-night
Unit block E. LaCrosse Ave. – The victim reported that video game systems were taken out of his apartment while he was gone. He reported that it was most likely an ex-employee, who has a key.
11-19-1409:36 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell- Threats
100 block Green Ave. -PWHS – The offender was arrested after she threatened and assaulted a teacher during her second day of school.
11-20-1419:45 hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Burglary-forced entry-nonresidence
100 block Bartram Ave. The church Trustee reported the building entered. The door had been kicked in, but noting appeared to be missing.
11-22-1420:23 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Theft-under $50. – retail theft
Unit block E. Baltimore – Dispatched for a shoplifter in custody. The offender was observed placing items in shopping bag. The store had the offender sign an agreement with the store stating she would not be allowed to enter any Rite Aid for the next three years. No charges will be filed as per store request.
11-23-1400:19 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Trespassing
Scottdale Rd. – While on patrol, this officer observed a red pick-up truck in a suspicious location. Did locate the truck in the tennis court parking lot. The offender was cited for violating the Borough Ordinance on park closure hours.
11-23 14 09:34 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Burglary-forced entry-residence-night
Unit block E. Stewart Ave. – Responded for a burglary discovered. The residence is currently being renovated and was burglarized. Tools and materials were taken from the residence.
