Police Blotter 11-13-17 to 11-19-17

11/14/2017 07:38 BURGLARY
SOUTH UNION AVE.

Police responded to a natural gas leak coming from a meter on S. Union Ave. Upon arrival police and the fire Department observed that the rear door of the residence was unlocked and that there was a heavy odor of natural gas inside of the residence. Police and fire checked the structure and noticed that several large steel gas pipes were missing from the basement of the property. No other damage was observed at the property at that time.


11/14/2017 23:19- ORDINANCE VIOLATION
WABASH AVE.

Dispatched to return to station see the repo man. Met with subject who had repossessed a vehicle on Wabash Ave. A check of our records showed that another officer had warned him of towing without notifying the Police Department. A citation was issued for the violation.


11/15/2017 11:28 DRUG ACTIVITY
PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Police were dispatched to Penn Wood High School for a report of illegal drug activity. Further information was that two subjects were detained in the office. Two offenders were taken into custody and charged.


11/16/2017 14:15 DISORDERLY CONDUCT
PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Police were at the Penn Wood High School for dismissal due to problems with fights after school. While on location, a fight broke out in the area of E. Essex Ave and Jackson Ave and police responded to the area. While clearing the large group, one juvenile subject was cited for Disorderly Conduct.


11/17/2017 08:03- PUBLIC DRUNKENESS
PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Police were dispatched for an intoxicated subject at Penn Wood High School. Upon arrival officers made contact with the school principal who advised that a student was brought to the office under suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Charges will be filed


11/18/2017 08:25- BURGLARY
DUDLEY AVE.

Police were dispatched to Dudley Ave for a burglary discovered. It was found that entry had been made into the garage and multiple items were miSSing.


11/18/2017 15:38- THEFT
EAST STRATFORD AVE.

Police dispatched to E. Stratford Ave for a report of criminal mischief to automobiles. Upon arrival this officer met with the victim who advised that sometime overnight unknown actor(s) removed the passenger side mirror from his vehicle and his brother-in law’s vehicle
