Police activity week of 11-10-14 through 11-16-14
11-10-1403:24 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Burglary-forced-entry-residence-night
100 block Nyack Ave. – Police responded for a burglary in progress. The victim could hear someone walking around the first floor of the residence. On arrival a side window was observed to be open and a white lawn chair was positioned directly below the window. Police cleared the residence. Both victims stated nothing appeared to be missing.
11-10-14 11:15 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Criminal mischief to auto
N. Wycombe Ave. – The victim reports she discovered that someone had smeared cake on the left front driver side of her vehicle. There were also scratches on the left front driver side door as well.
11-10-14 14:22 hours – Ptl. T. Selimis – Burglary-forced-entry-residence-known time
Unit block W. LaCrosse Ave. – Owner of property reports a burglary at his vacant property. Forced entry was made through a door. Two oil burning lamps were taken from the property.
11-13-1419:51 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Criminal mischief
Unit block Windermere Ave. – The victim reports that his garage window had been broken sometime during the day.
