Police Blotter 11-19-18 to 11-25-18

11/19/2018 11:47 – MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
NYACK AVE.

Lansdowne Police Department was dispatched to Nyack Ave for a stolen vehicle discovered. The victim stated that he parked his vehicle on Nyack Ave in front of his residence at approximately 1130 hours and he discovered it missing at approximately 1147 hours. Vehicle was recovered the following day. Charges pending.


11/19/2018 12:45 – THEFT
WINDERMERE AVE.

The victim came to the Lansdowne Police Station to report an unauthorized withdrawal from his bank account. He stated that the theft occurred in early October. He stated that he did not give permission for the withdrawal.


11/19/2018 21:35 – NARCOTICS POSSESSION
NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.

While conducting a traffic detail at Marshall Road and Jackson Avenue, an officer stopped a vehicle for a speeding violation. The driver was taken into custody for possession of marijuana and other related charges.


11/22/2018 01:34 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
HANSELL RD.

DELCOM dispatched the Lansdowne Police Department to the area of E. Essex Ave., for a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle in progress. The vehicle sustained damage to the windshield and side mirrors.


11/25/2018 15:15 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF TO AUTOMOBILE
NYACK AVE.

The Lansdowne police dept. received a report of juveniles throwing rocks in the area. Upon police arrival, the victim stated that he was traveling on Nyack Ave when he heard a noise and viewed 3 juveniles throwing rocks at vehicles. One of the rocks struck his truck and caused minor damage to the sunroof. Officer’s checked the area with negative results.
