Police Blotter 11-05-18 to 11-11-18

11/06/2018 16:32 – THEFT FROM VEHICLE

Police were dispatched to Blackburn Ave for found property. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the caller who found a purse on the side steps to his property. Items in the purse identified the owner who resides on E Essex Ave. Officers contacted owner at her residence and returned the items. She advised that the purse had been taken out of her vehicle sometime between 1600 and 1630 hours.

11/07/2018 16:30 – DUI

After being involved in an auto accident, subject was taken into custody and requested to take field sobriety tests and a portable breath test.

11/09/2018 08:55 – THEFT FROM AUTO

The victim contacted the Lansdowne Police Department by phone to report a theft attempt from her vehicle that occurred overnight. A gold bracelet was the only thing taken.

11/09/2018 09:31 – DISORDERLY CONDUCT

While on routine patrol, officer observed the listed vehicle make a right on red where prohibited, at E. Marshall Rd and N. Lansdowne Ave. During the stop a strong odor of fresh marijuana could be smelled emanating from the vehicle. A marijuana cigarette was recovered and the subject will be cited appropriately.

11/10/2018 03:24 ASSAULT

Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute involving a gun and a knife. On arrival, there was no evidence that a gun was involved in the incident. There was a knife present but there was no evidence that it was used to threaten or assault anyone. There was evidence that the suspect had physically assaulted the female victim. Subject arrested for domestic assault.
