Police activity week of 10-27-14 through 11-02-14

10-27-1402:25 hours – Sgt J. Eisenhart – DUI
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – The offender was arrested for DUI. His vehicle was towed and may be released to the owner of the vehicle only.


10-27-14 13:00 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Theft- $200 & over -bicycles
Unit block E. Greenwood Ave. – The victim reports his bicycle stolen from the rear of his residence. The bike was not locked at the time of this theft.


10-27-14 16:08 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Burglary-forced entry-residence-unknown time
Unit block Berkley Ave. – The reporting party discovered his mother’s property had been burglarized. He discovered that the copper piping and his tools were stolen from the residence.


10-28-14 19:48 hours – Ptl. T. Selimis – DUI
Unit block E. Stewart Ave. – Accident resulting in arrest of one offender for DUI.


10-29-1411:12 hours – Ptl P. Young -Burglary-forced entry-residence-night
Unit block Linden Ave. – On arrival made contact with the victim, who reported being a contractor working on the property. The victim stated he arrived at the house this morning to find work materials and some of his tools missing.


10-30-14 10:34 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Disorderly conduct
100 block Green Ave. – PWHS – Responded to PWHS for a report of a fight between students. Both students were mutual combatants and will be cited for disorderly conduct in addition to being suspended from school.


10-30-14 13:40 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Theft- $50 to $200 from auto
100 block Drexel Ave. – The reporting party stated that a tire was taken from the trunk of his wife’s vehicle. The vehicle doors were left unlocked and the cover for the tire in the trunk was loose. Nothing else appeared to be missing from the vehicle.


10-30-1422:25 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Criminal mischief to auto
100 block Glentay Ave. – While on patrol this officer observed toilet paper on a white Ford Explorer. There was also some writing on the windows and doors that appeared to be done with a blue water based product as it was already washing off. Did make contact with the vehicle owner. The owner sated that it was probably some of his daughter’s friends and was not worried about the toilet papers and did not want to follow through with anything else since there was no actual damage done to the vehicle.


10-31-1420:35 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Robbery-strong arm
S.Wycombe & Bartram Aves. – The victim reports being attacked by a group of juvenile males. The group did steal the victim’s Halloween candy.
