Police activity week of 10-24-16 through 10-30-16

10-24-16 14:11 hours- Ptl. C. Parker- Burglary-attempt-residence-night
100 block Eldon Ave.- The victim reports her garage window broken out. No items were determined stolen at this time.


10-24-16 18:22 hours- Sgt. K. Kienzle- Theft- $200 & over bicycles
100 block McKinley Ave.- The victim reports her bike was stolen from her front porch sometime overnight.


10-24-16 17:56 hours- Ptl. C. Parker- Theft- $50 to $200 from auto
S. Lansdowne Ave.- The victim stated that unknown actors removed approximately $5.00 in change and a tool kit from the vehicle.


10-25-16 17:29 hours- Sgt. K. Kienzle- Theft- attempted from auto
S. Lansdowne Ave.- The victim reports unknown person(s) had entered his vehicle. Nothing appears to be missing at this time.


10-26-16 07:15 hours- Ptl. C. Craig- Disorderly conduct
100 block Green Ave. PWHS- The school reports a disorderly male juvenile that had left the school. Several statements were made by the teachers and security in reference to the incident. The juvenile male will be issued several citations.


10-26-16 23:26 hours- Sgt. C. Schiazza -Theft- under $50 retail theft
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. -The offender had stolen items from the store. The offender was taken into custody and will be charged appropriately.


10-28-16 00:49 hours- Sgt. C. Schiazza – Robbery-armed-firearm-highway
Unit block N. Highland Ave.- Report of a robbery. Taken from the victim were cash and other items. Investigation continues.


10-27-16 19:14 hours- Ptl. M. McGinnis- Theft- $200 & over
Unit blockS. Lansdowne Ave.- Two victims reported unauthorized withdraws from a business credit card. The bank did help the victims cancel the credit card. This investigation will continue.


10-28-16 23:11 hours- Sgt. B. Eidell-MV theft
200 block N. Wycombe Ave.- Received a report of a theft of a 2009 Chevy Impala with a firearm inside the vehicle, from in front of the store. The victim left the keys in the vehicle and the vehicle running while he went into the store. The vehicle and firearm were quickly located in the area.


10-30-16 15:45 hours- Ptl. J. McGowan- Theft- $50 to $200- retail theft
100 block E. Baltimore Ave.- Dispatched for a retail theft that just occurred.
Police located the offenders and they were identified by the store manager and
taken into custody.


10-30-16 15:45 hours- Ptl. J. McGowan- Warrants- other authority
While investigating a retail theft, the offender was taken into custody for retail
theft. Once in custody, the offender was found to be wanted from New Jersey.
