Police activity week of 10-14-13 through 10-20-13
10-14-13 18:17 hours – Pli. T. Sellmls – Theft- $200 & over bicycles
Unit block S. Lansdowne Ave. – Victim parked her bike in front of the library and locked it. When she came out of the building the bike was missing. Did check the surveillance cameras and saw a black male, cut the lock and take the bike. One of the librarians may be able to identify the actor. She will be in work tomorrow.
10-15-13 10:21 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Criminal mischief
100 block Lansdowne Ct. – Victim reports someone shot out his front storm door window. Appeared to be a BB gun.
10-16-13 12:30 hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Disorderly conduct
100 block Green Ave. – PWHS – Dispatched for student in custody, who was disorderly in a classroom and threatened a security guard. The asst. Principal stated that the student was being disruptive in class and turned over desks. The offender was transported back to LPD HQ. The offender will be cited for disorderly conduct.
10-18-13 06:10 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Theft – $200 & over
100 block W. Greenwood Ave. – The victim reports tools taken from his company work van. The victim is unsure if he had locked the van last night.
10-18-1308:38 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Burglary-attempt-nonresidence-unknown time
Unit block Runnemede Ave. – This officer made contact with the victim who reports that someone had been in his garage and rummaged through it. Nothing appears to be missing at this time.
10-18-13 21:09 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Criminal mischief to auto
100 block Eldon Ave. – The victim of the vehicle stated that in the past ten minutes, unknown actor/s damaged the driver’s side mirror on his white Cadillac Sedan.
10-19-13 11:35 hours – ptl. J. McGowan – Theft- under $50.00 bicycles
Unit block E. Essex Ave. – The victim reports a black male was standing in her rear yard and had taken a bicycle. The bike was an old bicycle with rust and was worth about $50.00.
10-19-1313:00 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft- $50 to $200 – bicycles
200 block N. Wycombe Ave. – The victim reports her Schwinn beach cruiser, light blue with white wall tires and the initials’ S.V.D. taken from the rear yard. The bike lock was cut. Value of the bicycle approximately $250.00
