Police activity week of 10-13-14 through 10-19-14

10-13-1414:01 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Burglary-forced entry-residence-day
Unit block Pennock Ter. – Made contact with the victim. He reported his house was burglarized this morning and he was able to retrieve some stolen property from a Darby Pawn Shop.

10-14-1409:10 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell- Forgery
Unit block Owen Ave. – The victim stopped at police headquarters to report a case of forgery and I.D. theft involving a tenant of hers.

10-14-14 16:48 hours – Ptl. T. Selimis – Harassment
Unit block Ardmore Ave. – The offender was cited for harassment after soliciting her neighbor for money.

10-15-14 10:12 hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Burglary-no force-nonresidence
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – A burglary occurred sometime overnight at the Garden Church, resulting in the theft of petty cash.

10-15-1422:39 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Burglary-no force-residence-day
100 block E. Stewart Ave. – Police dispatched for a burglary discovered. Upon arrival there was no force and the only thing taken was a laptop.

10-15-1422:40 hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Assaults-simple
200 block Drexel Ave. – Police were dispatched for a call of a physical domestic dispute. The offender did assault his ex-wife and was taken into custody.

10-16-1408:47 hours – Ptl. C. Brown – Theft- $200 & over
100 block Windsor Ave. – The victim reported the theft of her prescribed medication. The medication was delivered by UPS on 10-15-14 and signed for by an unknown male. The victim did notify her medical insurance company.

10-16-1411:30 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Theft- $200 & over
100 block Owen Ave. -The victim reported the theft of her four cell phones. The victim states she never received the delivery. UPS delivered the phones on 9-314. No further information given on the time of delivery or where it was left upon delivery.

10-18-14 18:31 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Criminal mischief
Walsh & Deforest Rds. – The reporting person contacted police in reference to red paint that was on a street entrance sign and several homes in the area.

10-19-1402:10 hours – Ptl. Co Craig – Criminal mischief to auto
Unit block s. Union Ave. – The reporting party stated that someone had slashed all four tires of one of his employees. There is a video camera outside the business and the reporting party will attempt to get the footage of the crime.
