Police activity week of 10-03-16 through 10-09-16

10-03-16 13:39 hours- Ptl. L. Albertoli- Burglary-no force-residence-day
Unit block Pennock Ter.- This officer spoke with the victims/homeowners. This is a founded daytime burglary, no apparent forced entry. Known missing are jewelry, change and tools.


10-03-16 14:51 hours- Sgt. C. Schiazza- Assault-not aggravated
Woodland Ave.- The victim reported that she was attacked by a black female while walking home from school. The victim had a bleeding cut and a lump on her forehead.


10-03-16 16:50 hours- Sgt. J. McCaughan- Theft- under $50 from auto
S. Lansdowne Ave.- The victim reports while her vehicle was parked at the train station someone had entered the vehicle and stole her EZ pass and two charging cords. The victim is not sure if the vehicle was locked.


10-04-16 14:15 hours- Sgt. C. Schiazza- Criminal mischief
200 block Congress Ave.- The victim reports a cut in his window screen. No access was gained into the home.


10-04-16 17:07 hours- Ptl. J. Downs- Disorderly conduct
Fairview Ave.- LPD was dispatched to lnterboro Park for illegal drug activity. On location responding officers observed a black male riding an ATV through the park. After seeing the police, the male driving the ATV hopped off and another black male got on the ATV and drove south bound through the park to Fairview Ave. This officer was able to stop the male. Both males were subsequently taken into custody.


10-04-16 18:03 hours- Ptl. K. McDermott- Theft- $50 to $200 auto parts
S. Lansdowne Ave.- The victim stated that her rear driver side tire had been stolen while the vehicle was parked in the train station.


10-05-16 07:50 hours- Ptl. J. McGowan- Theft- under $0 from auto
Unit block Elberon Ave.- The victim reports that sometime overnight her vehicle was entered and items were taken.


10-06-16 18:40 hours- Ptl. J. McGowan- Theft- under $50 from auto
5. Lansdowne Ave.- The victim reports her vehicle entered while in the train station. Her iphone charger and AUX cord are reported missing. The victim reports the vehicle was unlocked.


10-06-16 22:19 hours- Ptl. D. Schiazza- Assaults
Unit block W. Stratford Ave.- The victim reports he was assaulted by a group of black males. The suspects fled the area.


10-07-16 01:25 hours- Sgt. B. Eidell- Theft-attempted- from auto
Unit block Legion Ter.- The victim reports an attempted theft from his auto. The victim stated the glove box was ransacked. Nothing was missing but the glove box was damaged.


10-07-16 06:20 hours- Sgt. B. Eidell – Criminal mischief to auto
Unit block 5. Highland Ave.- The victim reports the rear window of his vehicle had been shattered with a rock.


10-07-16 08:30 hours- Ptl. L. Albertoli -Theft- under $50 from auto
100 block Lansdowne Ct.- The victim reports her vehicle entered and an E-Z pass transponder, a phone charger and the insurance and registration card for the vehicle are missing.


10-07-16 19:50 hours- Ptl. C. Craig- Burglary-no force-residence-day
100 block E. Essex Ave.-The victim’s report their residence was entered and several items were taken.


10-08-16 03:00 hours- Ptl. M. McGinnis- Public Drunkenness
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave.- The offender was cited for public drunkenness after being located by the church, she was slurring her words and not making sense.


10-08-16 14:29 hours- Sgt. C. Schiazza- DUI
100 block E. Essex Ave.- The offender was taken into custody as a result of an accident. The offender did fail the field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for DUI.


10-08-16 14:46 hours- Sgt. C. Schiazza- Theft-attempted-from auto
Unit block Ardmore Ave.- The victim reported that both his vehicles were entered. Both vehicles were left unlocked. Nothing reported missing from the vehicles.
