Police activity week of 09-30-13 through 10-06-13

10-01-13 13:38 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Burglary-no force-residence-day
200 block N. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reports returning from gym and discovered the front door of his house open. The front door did not appear to have been forced open. The victim states items were missing from his bedroom.


10-01-13 18:00 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Rape by force
N. Lansdowne Ave. – A woman went to the hospital emergency room stating she was sexually assaulted in a parking lot in Lansdowne. This investigation will continue.


10-03-13 07:42 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Assaults
100 block Green Ave. – (PWHS) – Police responded to PWHS for a report of a disorderly subject in the Assistant Principal’s office. On arrival was advised that the offender had struck another student in the face while in the cafeteria. The offender was taken into custody and will be charged appropriately.


10-04-13 03:53 hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Assault- hands, fists, feet
S. Union & Austin Ave. – Police responded to the hospital on a report of an assault victim in the emergency room. Spoke to the victim who stated he was assaulted by males on the railroad tracks near Union Ave. The victim was obviously injured and highly intoxicated.


10-04-13 14:15 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Trespassing of real property
100 block Green Ave. – (PWHS) – While on patrol in the area of PWHS, this officer was advised by the school security that the offender made threats against the school. The offender was placed into custody and will be charged appropriately.


10-05-13 16:21 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft – $50 to $200 – retail theft
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – The offender was taken into custody after he stole merchandise from the Rite Aid Store. Value of items taken $63.36. Items were recovered.
