Police activity week of 09-19-16 through 09-25-16

09-19-16 04:30 hours- Ptl. C. Parker- Burglary-no force-nonresidence
100 block Shadeland Ave.- This officer was notified by the business owner that items inside the business appeared to have been disturbed. Officer’s checked the interior of the business with no actors being located inside. Items were moved and damaged by the actor. No money or grocery items appeared to have been stolen.

09-19-16 17:59 hours- Ptl. M. McGinnis- Theft- $50 to $200- bicycles
Madison Rd.- The victim stated he locked his bicycle at the train station. When he returned he found the cable lock cut and the bike missing.

09-21-16 15:20 hours- Ptl. D. Schiazza- Theft- $200 & over
100 block Green Ave. PWHS- The complainant reports that an Apple Macbook computer that he was issued by the William Penn School District had been stolen from the boy’s locker room at the high school.

09-21-16 19:15 hours- Ptl. M. Ammon- Burglary-forced entry-residence-day
Unit block E. Plumstead Ave.- The victim reports that her three computers were missing from her residence. She discovered a basement window on the east side of the house had been pushed or kicked in.

09-22-16 16:18 hours- Sgt. B. Eidell- Stolen property-receiving-possession
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave.- Responded to a call for retail theft. One offender taken into custody.

09-22-16 17:03 hours- Ptl. M. Ammon- Narcotics- possession
Belmont Park- One offender taken into custody for drug possession.

09-25-16 18:28 hours- Pt. M. McGinnis- DUI
E. Marshall Rd. & N. Lansdowne Ave.- One offender taken into custody for DUI.

09-25-16 19:15 hours- Ptl. C. Craig- Robbery-attempt-strong arm
100 block Ardmore Ave.- The victim reports a black male juvenile approached him on a bike asking for directions. The victim states the male then pushed him and attempted to steal his cell phone. The offender did not get the phone and fled the area.
