Police Blotter 09-18-17 to 09-24-17

09/15/2017 10:59- THREATS
PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Police were dispatched to Penn Wood High School for a report of threats that were not in progress, between two students. Threats were made due to a previous incident. Investigation to continue.


09/19/2017 09:00- DISORDERLY CONDUCT
SOUTH LANSDOWNE AVE.

While on the scene of an accident, it was discovered that the vehicle involved did not have valid insurance. Due to this, the vehicle was to be towed and as the owner was collecting belongings officers observed a small plastic vial containing a green leafy substance suspected to be marijuana.

SOUTH LANSDOWNE AVE.

Witness came to the Lansdowne Police Station to report that two females were fighting in the area of S. Lansdowne Ave. and Baltimore Ave. The witness reported that one of the females appeared to be stabbing the other one. Subjects arrested and charged


09/20/2017 19:56 PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS
EAST BALTIMORE AVE.

Police responded to a disorderly, intoxicated subject. On arrival complainant stated that a woman had been in his business and had been causing a scene. Subject was identified and charged.


09/21/2017 01:47- BURGLARY
EAST STEWART AVE.

Police responded to a burglar alarm. After several minutes it became known that a burglary attempt had occurred.


09/21/2017 10:45- THREATS
PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Lansdowne Police responded to Penn Wood High School in reference to a fight that had just occurred. Upon arrival, police made contact with the involved parties. The victim had gone home with her parents. A juvenile offender was sent home by the school. An adult offender was returned to police station and charged.


09/20/2017 15:11- ASSAULT
PENN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Three (3) juveniles and one (1) adult charged after being involved in a physical altercation in the area of the school.


09/21/2017 22:01- THEFT
200 BLK. NORTH WYCOMBE AVE

The Lansdowne police received a report of a stolen firearm. Upon our arrival, victim stated that he left the weapon inside his bedroom unsecured. He left the residence, leaving a family friend inside. Investigation to continue


09/22/2017 18:10- NARCOTICS POSSESSION
EAST LACROSSE AVE.

Officer observed a vehicle illegally pass another motor vehicle on N. Highland Ave. A traffic stop was initiated and during the subsequent investigation, the front seat passenger was taken into custody on drug possession and paraphernalia charges.


09/24/2017 03:46- DISORDERLY CONDUCT
LANSDOWNE COURT

Officers were dispatched to the area of Lansdowne Court for a report of a loud party in the rear of a residence. On police arrival, we could hear a group talking. The group could be heard from the far end of Lansdowne Court. Several requests were made to cease which was ignored. Citations were issued.


09/24/2017 11:29- THEFT
ST. PHILOMENA’S CHURCH

Police responded to a report of a theft from St. Philomena’s Church. Upon arrival, officer met with the victim’s who reported that collection money was stolen from the church safe in the sacristy and cash was taken from a purse which was in the same room.
