09-15-1409:32 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Theft – Under $50 from auto
100 block S. Lansdowne Ave. – Police responded for theft from a vehicle. Victim reports vehicle doors were locked. Wallet and its contents were missing.
09-15-14 14:47 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell – Criminal mischief
Scottdale Rd. – Responded to Hoffman Park for criminal mischief to floodlight poles. The padlocks were removed from the metal boxes at base of pole. The boxes house switches.
09-15-1417:10 hours – Ptl. T. Selimis – Theft- Under $50
200 block N. Wycombe Ave. – The victim reports a pair of shoes she had ordered had not arrived. FedEx apparently delivered the package on 9-11-14.
09-16-14 15:44 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell- Criminal mischief to auto
E. Essex &Jackson Aves. – A custodian from PWHS reported that obscene words had been scratched into the hood of his vehicle.
09-16-14 19:37 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Theft- $50 to $200
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reports that bags containing her merchandise from another store and property worth approximately $155.98 were stolen from inside of the front door of the Dollar Tree Store.
09-17-1402:38 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Harassment
Unit block Windermere Ave H4 – Police responded for a reported physical domestic. Both parties involved will be issued citations.
09-17-14 13:11 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Theft- under $50 – retail theft
100 block E. Plumstead Ave. – The victim did get in a dispute with two males. The males had stolen items from the store. Checked the area with negative results.
09-17-1416:06 hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Burglary-no force- residence -day
100 block S. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reports a burglary at his apartment. Two lap top computers were reported missing.
09-17-1422:37 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Theft $200 & over
100 block Green Ave. – PWHS – The victim reported that his cell phone was taken today. The phone was inside his schoolbag, which was located in the boy’s locker room of PWHS.
09-18-1407:58 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Disorderly conduct
100 block Green Ave. – PWHS – Police responded for the report of threats not in progress. A non-violent 17 year old male was detained in the assistant principal’s office.
09-19-1409:30 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Theft- $50 to $200
Unit block W. Baltimore Ave. – Dispatched for a report of a theft of parts from the cell tower on the building. Estimated loss $3,000.
09-20-1401:35 hours – Ptl. c. Craig – Harassment
Unit block E. Stewart Ave. – Citation issued to landlord for harassing his tenants.
09-20-1407:44 hours – Ptl. c. Schiazza – Theft- $200 & over from auto
100 block Windermere Ave. – Did recover several items of value taken from the victim’s vehicle. Still missing from the vehicle was an Apple i-phone charger. The vehicle had been unlocked at the time of theft.
09-20-14 12:01 hours – Ptl. T. Selimis – Theft- $50 & $200 from auto
100 block Windermere Ave. – The victim reports items had been removed from her secured vehicle.
09-20-14 16:28 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Theft- under $50 from auto
Unit block E. Plumstead Ave. – The victim reports items missing from her unlocked vehicle.
09-20-1421:25 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Kidnapping/abduction
Police responded to a possible abduction attempt. A woman was interviewed and a description of a vehicle involved was broadcast to surrounding police departments. Incident remains under investigation.
