Police activity week of 09-05-16 through 09-11-16

09-06-16 17:16 hours- Ptl. K. McDermott- Theft- $50 to $200
200 block Scottdale Rd.- The victim reported a theft of two packages from the lobby of the building.


09-09-16 16:00 hours- Sgt. J. McCaughan- Theft- $200 & over
Unit block Scottdale Rd.- The victim reported a firearm was stolen from his residence. The firearm was stolen sometime between October, 2014 and Sunday, September 4, 2016. Also missing are two cans of full ammunition for the firearm.


09-10-16 09:32 hours- Ptl. K. McDermott- Burglary-forced- residence
100 block N. Lansdowne Ave.- The victim reported her apartment burglarized and vandalized. Entry was gained by force entry through the front door.


09-10-16 13:08 hours- Ptl. l. Albertoli- Contempt of court
200 block W. Baltimore Ave.- Dispatched for a report of a possible PFA violation. The offender was located and taken into custody. During the PFA confirmation, warrants from Delaware County were also located. A search incident to arrest found suspected PCP on the offender’s person.


09-10-16 13:08 hours- Ptl. l. Albertoli- Narcotics-possession
200 block W. Baltimore Ave.- The offender was taken into custody for possession of drugs along with a PFA violation. The offender was processed and held pending arraignment.


09-10-16 21:48 hours- Ptl. M. Ammon- Assault
W. Stratford & Windermere Aves.- Dispatched for a report of threats in progress. On location I made contact with the victim. It was then determined to be an assault. Investigation will continue.


09-11-16 10:33 hours- Ptl. K. McDermott- Robbery- attempt-knife
100 block E. Baltimore Ave. -Responded for the report of a retail theft. The offender was observed by the store manager taking several electric razors. The manager followed the offender out of the store and he did state {{back off or I’ll stab you.” The offender then fled the scene.


09-11-16 14:20 hours- Ptl. K. McDermott- Disorderly conduct
N. Lansdowne & W. Stratford Aves. -Three individuals involved in a disturbance ran from police after being told to stop. One male juvenile was placed into custody. The juvenile was returned to LPD and issued a disorderly conduct citation and was released to his father. Another offender was identified and will be mailed a citation.


09-11-16 19:15 hours- Ptl. C. Craig- Criminal mischief to auto
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave.- The victim reports a large dent in the hood of her car.
