Police activity week of 08-31-15 through 09-06-15

08-31-15 16:00 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Criminal mischief
Willowbrook Ave. – Police responded for a report of criminal mischief discovered. On arrival graffiti had been painted on the bridge below Willowbrook Avenue.

09-02-15 10:30 hours – Sgt. C. Schiazza – M.V. theft
100 block S. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reports his 1996 orange and black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle was stolen from the front of the residence.

09-03-1509:30 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Theft- $200 & over
Unit block Ardmore Ave. – The reporting party from Beneficial Bank called to report that the victim has several unauthorized withdrawals from her bank account through ATM withdrawals totaling over three thousand dollars ($3,000.00). The victim is a senior citizen and advised the bank that she is fearful of retaliation of the suspects who are believed to be her neighbors.

09-04-15 08:41 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Sex offenses-indecent exposure
Berkley & Owen Aves. – A woman reported that a man exposed himself while she was walking in the area.

09-05-1500:24 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell- Harassment
E. Plumstead Ave. – The victim reports three males have been harassing him. He believes it is because he has prohibited them from entering his store because they were caught stealing.

09-05-15 00:38 hours – Ptl. T. landau – Disorderly conduct
Union & W. Baltimore Ave. – Officer Wooding (CHPD) had a subject in custody at the DUI check point. The offender was taken into custody after refusing to walk on the sidewalk and then flicked a lit cigarette towards Officer Wooding, hitting him in the face.

09-05-15 20:38 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Disorderly conduct
200 block Wabash Ave. – The offender was taken into custody and cited for disorderly conduct.

09-06-1502:06 hours – Ptl. T. Landau – Theft- under $50 from auto
100 block E. Greenwood Ave. – The victim reports he observed three males near his vehicle. The victim discovered change and a basketball missing from the auto. The victim did confront the males and the suspects fled.

09-06-15 06:14 hours – Pt!. D. Schiazza – Burglary-no force-residence-night
Unit block E. Stratford Ave. -The victim reports that when she returned home she discovered her apartment had been burglarized and that $1,400.00 was missing from the apartment. Victim suspects her ex-boyfriend.

09-06-1509:36 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft- $200 & over from auto
200 block Braddock Ave. – The victim reports the family vehicle had been entered and her purse was missing. The empty purse was located but missing was $680. cash, a bank card and several pairs of headphones.

09-06-15 09:24 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft- $200 & over from auto
100 block W. Plumstead Ave – The victim advised that his car was gone through sometime overnight. Several items were missing from the vehicle.

09-06-15 11:04 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft- $50 to $200 from buildings
100 block W. Essex Ave. – The victim advised someone had opened a package that was delivered to her home and stole the packages contents.

09-06-15 17:17 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Burglary-no force-residence-night
100 block N. Union Ave. – The victim showed this officer that access was gained to the second floor apartment, which is currently unoccupied. There were signs that someone had been staying or been in the apartment overnight.

09-06-15 20:18 hours – Ptl. T. Landau – Vandalism
Unit block Sayers Ave. – The victim reports a large dent on the rear driver side roof of his vehicle.
