Police activity week of 08-29-16 through 09-04-16

08-29-16 17:35 hours- Pti.J.McGowan- Disorderly conduct
N. Union & McKinley Aves.- Observed the offender shouting at the involved party. The offender was cursing and causing a public inconvenience. He was advised to calm down but continued using profanity in the presence of adults and children. He was advised he would be receiving a citation.


08-30-16 08:18 hours- Sgt. K. Kienzle- Theft- $200 & over from auto
100 blockS. Lansdowne Ave.- The victim reported that sometime overnight unknown person(s) entered his girlfriend’s vehicle and stole his hand gun. The victim stated the vehicle was locked.


08-30-16 11:41 hours- Sgt. K. Kienzle- Theft- $50 to $200
Unit block Berkley Ave.- The victim reports the theft of her Garmin GPS unit from her kitchen table. She suspects employees of a moving company.


08-30-16 16:27 hours- Ptl. J. McGowan- Burglary-attempt-residence-day
100 block W. Marshall Rd.- The victim reports he found his screen windows opened. The victim reported that no access was made.


08-30-16 20:05 hours- Ptl. M. Ammon- Theft-attempted-from auto
Unit block Willowbrook Ave.- The victim reports her vehicle had been rifled through. Nothing reported missing. She stated the car may have been unlocked.


08-31-19 04:51 hours- Sgt. B. Eidell- Loitering/Prowling- at night
Unit block Marlyn Ave.- Two witnesses reported three black males prowling in the area. The one witness observed two males standing by his wife’s vehicle and one male at the end of his driveway. He yelled at the males and they fled the scene.


08-31-16 05:45 hours- Ptl. M. Ammon- Theft- attempted
Unit block Willowbrook Ave.- While doing property checks, this officer found a box belonging to the residents of Unit block Willowbrook Ave. The box was opened. The contents were still in the box.


08-31-16 -7:15 hours- Ptl. M. McGinnis- Theft- under $50 from auto
300 block N. Maple Ave.- The victim reports her vehicle was entered and gone through while parked in front of her house. The victim is unsure if the vehicle was locked. No damage was sustained to the vehicle. An unknown amount of change was removed from the vehicle.


08-31-16 09:00 hours- Ptl. M. McGinnis- Theft- under $50 from auto
100 block Owen Ave.- The victim reports that his vehicle was entered sometime overnight. The only item missing is an older Apple 1-Pod, which the victim values at ten dollars.


08-31-16 21:00 hours- Ptl. K. McDermott- Theft- attempted from auto
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave.- The victim reports an attempted theft from her vehicle. Nothing was taken from the vehicle but it had been rummaged through.


09-01-16 07:32 hours- Sgt. J. Eisenhart- Theft- under $50 from auto
200 block Windermere Ave.- The victim reports that sometime overnight her vehicle was entered and change was taken. The vehicle was not locked.


09-01-16 08:57 hours- Sgt. J. Eisenhart- Theft- under $50 from auto
100 block E. Greenwood Ave.- The victim reports his unlocked vehicle was entered and change was removed.


09-01-16 11:16 hours- Sgt. J. Eisenhart- Theft- attempted- from auto
Unit block Legion Ter.- The victims unlocked vehicle was entered overnight. Nothing reported missing from the vehicle.


09-01-16 13:14 hours- Sgt. J. McCaughan- Theft- $200 & over from auto
200 block Wayne Ave.- The victim reports her vehicle entered and a cell phone and Apple ipod were stolen.


09-01-16 15:44 hours- Sgt. J. Eisenhart- Theft- attempted -from auto
Unit block N. Wycombe Ave.- The victim reports her unlocked vehicle was entered. Nothing reported missing from the vehicle.
