Police activity week of 08-17-15 through 08-23-15

08-17-15 08:15 hours – Ptl. T. Landau – Vandalism
Scottdale Rd. – The complainant reports vandalism to his work vehicle, while parked in the area of Hoffman Park. The side window was smashed open with glass on the driver seat. The driver side was sprayed with white paint.

08-19-15 13:05 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Theft- under $50
Unit block Windermere Ave. – Report of the theft of a number of traffic cones.

08-19-15 15:48 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Burglary-no force-residence-day
Unit block Linden Ave. – The victim reports a burglary at his residence. Known missing is a large quantity of coins.

08-19-15 Ptl. J. Downs – Theft- $50 to $200 – bicycles
Unit block S. Wycombe Ave. – The victim reports his bicycle stolen from outside his friend’s residence. Value of bike approximately $150.00

08-21-15 19:05 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Theft- under $50
Unit block S. Lansdowne Ave. – The complainant reported that two silver keys on a blue key chain were missing from the front counter of the store.

08-21-15 22:54 hours – Ptl. C. Parker – Narcotics-possession-heroin, morphine
200 block Ardmore Ave. – Located the offender after receiving a call of a suspicious male in the area. Suspected drugs were found on the offender along with a used hypodermic needle and a vehicle/house lock picking kit.

08-22-15 15:23 hours – Ptl. T. Landau – Theft- $200 & over
200 block W. Baltimore Ave. – The victim reports he discovered four tools stolen from his rear porch.

08-22-15 23:23 hours – Ptl. J. Downs – Disorderly conduct
E. Plumstead & Wayne Aves. – While on patrol a vehicle caught this officer’s attention. The cabin ofthe vehicle was filled with smoke and the odor of marijuana could be smelled emanating from the vehicle. Three were taken into custody and a small amount of marijuana was located in the vehicle. All three were cited for disorderly conduct.

08-23-1506:34 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – DUI
Cooper & E. Plumstead Aves. – One taken into custody after being located in his vehicle. A strong odor of alcoholic beverage could be smelled emanating from the vehicle and an open container of alcohol was observed in the center console of the vehicle. The offender will be charged with DUI on a 20 day summons.
