08-06-12 17:07 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft- $50 to $200 from auto
100 block E. Baltimore – Victim states his US passport was stolen from his girlfriend’s vehicle. He was sure the vehicle was locked at the time of theft.
08-06-12 17:10 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Fraud-credit cards, ATM
Unit block Eldon Rd. – The victim states he was contacted by Discover Card that someone had attempted to open a Discover Card credit card in his name but with a different address then his. Will contact Discover card to find out any information of this attempt. Investigation to continue.
08-06-12 19:19 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell – Criminal mischief-all other
100 block E. Plumstead Ave. – Complainant reports he heard breaking glass and went to investigate. He took this officer to the rear garage area of the Lime Sportswear facility. He point to the last garage where the window had a large circular hole in the center. Will inform the business of the broken window.
08-06-12 21:55 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell – Criminal mischief to auto
N. Wycombe & E. Essex Aves. – The victim was driving his Ford F250 pickup on N. Wycombe and was approaching E. Essex Ave. when he heard a whistling sound followed by an impact on the upper right corner of his windshield. Upon exiting his vehicle he observed what appeared to be two BB impacts on the windshield.
08-06-12 23:25 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell – Criminal mischief all other
200 block N. Wycombe Ave. – The victim reports while in his apartment listing to tape he heard a loud bang and saw his window shade move. He checked the window and a observed a hole in the glass on the exterior window.
08-07-12 04:50 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Sex offenses-indecent exposure
100 block E. Baltimore Ave. – Police dispatched to the Rite Aid Pharmacy store for a report of an indecent act in progress. Radio advised that there was a report of a naked black male wearing a turban standing out in front of the store asking for oral sex. Spoke to two victims who relayed what had occurred. Checked the area for the actor without success.
08-07-12 19:05 hours – Sgt. K. Rutherford – Robbery-armed-firearm-residence
Unit block Scottdale Rd. – The victim reported that the theft occurred approximately an hour and a half earlier. The victim reported that three males entered the residence. The victim was told to sit on the couch and not move. One actor did have a shotgun. The actors removed numerous items belonging to the son and left the residence. Investigation to continue.
08-08-12 09:30 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell – Criminal mischief to automobiles
100 block Glentay Ave. – the victim stated she parked her vehicle in front of her residence at 22:30 hours on Tuesday evening, 8/7/12. At approximately 09:00 hours of today’s date, Wednesday 8-8-12 the victim came out and noticed the driver side morrow was hanging off of the mount on the car. Upon checking she discovered that her passenger side mirror had been removed from the vehicle.
08-09-12 11:11 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Criminal mischief to public buildings
Unit block S. Lansdowne Ave. – Police responded to vandalism discovered. On arrival the library director stated that sometime between 9pm last evening and 9am this morning unknown actor/s placed food into the overnight book drop box. This caused approximately $500 worth of damage by ruining the papers and books that were in the box.
08-09-12 20:54 hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – All others-contempt of court
200 block N. Wycombe Ave. – Police received a report of a domestic argument. On location was the offender, who was in violation of a PFA. The victim advised he wanted the offender arrested for the violation. Offender taken into custody.
08-10-12 23:33 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell – Public drunkenness
200 block Congress Ave. – Police received a call for an intoxicated female. On arrival offender was located. Offender had extremely bloodshot and glassy eyes, her speech was slurred, and she was very unsteady on her feet and was unable to answer basic questions about what was going on. Offender was taken into custody and will be issued the appropriate citations.
08-11-12 10:55 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft- $50 to $200 from building
100 block w. Essex Ave. – Victim came to police headquarters to report the theft of his wallet. He stated that the wallet was kept on a shelf in a rest room at his residence. The victim suspects contractors who were inside the house to do work. The victim was advised to cancel his credit cards and any other licenses or permits that were in the wallet.
08-11-12 18:13 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft- $50 to $200 bicycles
100 block Blackburn Ave. – Reporting party stated her son’s bicycle, a Tony Hawk BMX bike, white with black and red lettering was stolen. Two black male were seen heading towards Wycombe Avenue both riding bicycles. Checked area with negative results. Value of item approximately $250.00.
08-11-12 19:27 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – All other vandalism
200 block Wabash Ave. – The reporting party stated that two black males were on the front porch of the house next door, she heard glass breaking and the two males ran from the porch. She knows this house to be foreclosed. While speaking to the reporting party a black male was pointed out by the reporting party as one of the males involved. The male, who was on a bicycle, saw this officer and left area. Attempted to locate subject with negative results. The bicycle was recovered.
08-11-12 21:48 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell – Liquor law-underage-purchase, consumption-possession
200 block W. Essex Ave. – Police received a call for intentional alcohol overdose. Where met on location by the parents of the juvenile involved. Parents located their daughter at a residence where a drinking party was taking place. The daughter was located by the parents, who had become concerned because the daughter did not answer her cell phone. The daughter, who was highly intoxicated. The parents called 911 and the daughter was transported to the hospital. This investigation will continue. Daughter of the homeowner cited for underage drinking and disorderly conduct.
08-12-12 22:20 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Theft- under $50 – retail theft
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – Police dispatched to Wawa store for a report of a shoplifting in progress.
On arrival did take into custody the offender for theft of merchandise from the store. She will be charged appropriately.
