Police were dispatched to N Lansdowne Ave for the report of a burglary discovered. Nothing missing at this time.


08/20/2018 23:54- BURGLARY ATTEMPT
WALSH RD.

Police were dispatched to Walsh Rd, for a report of bathroom window alarm activation. I responded to the above listed address and I checked the exterior of the home. The exterior of the home appeared secure and there were no signs of forced entry observed. Owner states window was closed.


08/22/2018 07:43- THEFT FROM VEHICLE
E. ESSEX AVE.

Victim reported that cash and her passport were stolen overnight from her vehicle. Doors may have been unlocked.


08/22/2018 19:20- DISORDERLY CONDUCT
NORTH UNION AVE.

An off duty police officer reported a recklessly driven vehicle, reported to be a black male on a green dirt bike, driving at unsafe speeds both north and south bound (wrong way) on N. Union Ave. The subject was detained and taken into custody after becoming disorderly and threatening. Charges will be filed.


08/22/2018 23:32- ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM VEHICLE
WEST PLUMSTEAD AVE.

Victim called to report that her vehicle had been rifled through. Nothing reported missing.


08/24/2018 01:28- DISORDERLY CONDUCT
SCOTTDALE RD.

Officer was on routine patrol in the area of Hoffman Park. A gray vehicle was parked in the lot in front of the pavilions. A male could be seen inside in the rear seat, a second person was viewed after she sat upright from a lying position. When the vehicle doors were opened a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage could be smelled emanating from inside the vehicle and on both persons. Both cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.


08/24/2018 04:18 – BURGLARY
BALFOUR CIRCLE

Police were dispatched for a burglary in progress. Further information was that the victim reported to hearing something and then observing a male inside of her residence. When the victim saw the male, she screamed and the male ran out of the residence. Missing were credit cards and a wallet. Investigation to continue.


08/24/2018 10:58- THEFT FROM VEHICLE
WEST STRATFORD AVE.

While on scene at a reported motor vehicle accident at W Stratford Ave and Ardmore Ave, the victim stated that his vehicle had been entered over night and items stolen. Total loss about forty dollars. Unknown if the vehicle was locked.


08/24/2018 09:18- THEFT FROM VEHICLE
WEST LACROSSE AVE.

On Friday August 24th, 2018 at approximately 0918hrs Police were dispatched to return to headquarters and see the complainant in reference to items stolen from his vehicle which occurred overnight. Laptop, phone charger and change reported missing.


08/25/2018 14:40- THEFT FROM BUILDING
WILLOWBROOK AVE.

The victim said that a package was delivered by Fed Ex on 08 I 24 I 18 at 1142 hours. The victim said that the package was not there when he came home from work at 1730 hours. According to the victim, FedEx dropped the package off at the front door.


08/26/2018 20:50- CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
EAST ESSEX AVE.

Police were dispatched to East Essex Ave., for a report of a criminal mischief that just occurred. The victim was reporting that someone threw a rock through her window. She reported that she heard the glass break and looked out and saw a group of juveniles run away.
