Police Blotter 07-17-17 to 07-23-17

07/17/2017 21:46- Burglary
Police were dispatched to S. Union Ave for a possible burglary in progress. Further information was that a black male described to be 5’05” tall, wearing all dark clothing had followed the victim home and was attempting to kick the door in. Upon arrival police did not locate the subject but checked the area for the subject.

07/18/2017 05:38- Theft of Firearm
On July 18th, 2017 subject responded to Lansdowne Police Department in reference to a stolen firearm from an earlier domestic situation. Investigation continues.

07/18/2017 20:28 – Theft
Police responded to a theft on the 200 blk. Of Crawford Ave. Victim states that three packages were delivered to the house today. One of the packages was left untouched on his porch, a second package was taken off the porch and carried down the street and riffled through, and a third package was opened on the porch and the contents stolen.

07/19/2017 08:32 – Theft from vehicle
The reporting party said that a theft from her boyfriend’s vehicle occurred at some point between 1800hrs on 07/18/17 and 0800hrs on today’s date as the vehicle was parked out front of unit blk. Runnemede Avenue. She believes the vehicle was locked but discovered the front passenger side door ajar this morning. No signs of forced entry.

07/19/2017 16:26- Theft
Lansdowne Police were dispatched to unit blk. of Ardmore Ave for a burglary discovered. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim who advised that a handgun and cash were missing from the residence. Investigation continues

07/21/2017 10:11- THEFT OF VEHICLE
At the above date and time police dispatched to 200 blk. North Wycombe Avenue for a report of a stolen vehicle discovered. Stolen was a 2000 Ford Taurus. Vehicle later recovered down the street.
