Police activity week of 07-09-12 through 07-15-12

07-09-12 18:25 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft-under $50 from auto
Unit block N. Rigby Ave. – Victim came to police headquarters to report a theft from his vehicle. Unknown actor/s entered his vehicle and left the interior in disarray. Taken from the vehicle was a bank card (which was canceled right away) and approximately $10.00 worth of change. The victim stated the vehicle was locked.

07-09-12 20:33 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell – Theft- $200 & over from auto
Unit block E. LaCrosse Ave. – Received a call to see the man in reference to a theft from vehicle. The victim stated his daughter had used the vehicle parked and locked it. The victim discovered the theft Monday evening. Missing from the vehicle was an Apple IPod and a small amount of change.

07-09-12 21:36 hours – Ptl. T. Selimis – All other vandalism
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – Police were dispatched to the Wawa parking lot for criminal mischief. Three males had kicked over a motorcycle. The victim stated a white van with a removable magnet labeled “Sunoco Road Service: on the side was following to close to the rear of his motorcycle. The van & the victim turned into the Wawa and parked directly out front. The three white males exited the van and began cursing at the victim. The argument ended and the victim along with one of the males from the van went into Wawa. When the victim came out his motorcycle was lying on the ground. A witness observed one of the males pull the motorcycle down. Actors left area.

07-10-12 11:23 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Burglary-forced entry-residence-day
Unit block W. Greenwood Ave. – The victim reported when he returned home he discovered his residence had been burglarized. Access gained through rear basement window. No property reported missing at this time. Damage to window and basement door approximately $200.00.

07-12-12 18:15 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Disorderly conduct
Belmont Ave. – Responded to the anonymous report for a fight. On arrival this officer observed both offenders engaged in a fight inside the park. Both stopped fighting when they observed this officer. When this officer instructed both offenders to stop they continued to walk acting if they did not hear anything. Both offenders were placed into custody and returned to headquarters where they were cited appropriately.

07-13-12 06:55 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Theft- $200 & over-bicycles
Unit block E. Windermere Ter & W. Baltimore Ave. – The victim reported that sometime between 2000 hours on Thursday July 12 and 0630 hours this date unknown actor/s cut a cable lock and stole his bike. The bike is a Torker Graduate, black with silver highlights and is a commuter style with upright handlebars. Bike valued at $550.00.

07-13-12 14:59 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Narcotics-possession
E. Baltimore Ave & Wycombe Ave. – this officer arrested the offender for drug violation after stopping her motor vehicle.
