Police activity week of 07-08-13 through 07-14-13
07-08-13 05:04 hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Disorderly conduct & Public drunkenness
200 block Scottdale Rd. – Three cited after a fight in the hallway of the apartment complex. One offender was taken into custody due to his combative attitude and intoxication; he will be housed at LPD until he is sober enough to release. Two other offenders will be cited for disorderly conduct.
07-08-13 09:00 hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Theft- $200 & over from auto
Unit block Nyack Ave. – the victim responded to police headquarters to report his Schector Stilleto 4 string custom bass guitar had been stolen from his friends van. The van was locked.
07-08-13 21:48 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Disorderly conduct
Unit block E. Stratford Ave. – One taken into custody as a result of a domestic dispute. The offender was cited and transported to his mother’s home in Collingdale.
07-09-13 18:45 hours – Ptl. C. Craig -Theft- $50 to $200 auto parts & accessories
Unit block E. Stratford Ave. – The victim reports that his motorcycle registration had been stolen off of his motorcycle that was parked on the street in front of his residence.
07-10-13 11:45 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Burglary-forced entry-residence day
Unit block Legion Ter. – Responded to the location for a burglary discovered. On arrival the some of the home owner stated the residence was burglarized today between 11:15 hours and 11:40 hours. It appears that the exterior basement door was smashed out. An interior basement door was observed to be kicked in which allowed access into the rest of the residence. It appears that several DVD’s and Xbox games are missing. The reporting party stated that the residence was burglarized approximately a month ago, but that he never reported it to police. Did speak with the property owner, who is traveling and not in the area. I did advise the owner to secure the property as soon as possible.
07-11-13 00:00 hours – Ptl. C. Brown – Harassment
100 block E. Stewart Ave. – Dispatched for a domestic fight between a male & female possibly involving a knife. On arrival loud yelling could be heard coming from inside the residence. Once inside several persons in the residence were yelling and attempting to surround all officers inside. One taken into custody, returned to headquarters and cited and released.
