Police activity week of 07-07-14 through 07-13-14
07-06-1423:05 hours – Ptl. C. Brown – Assault
Unit block Florence Ave. – Police received a report of a domestic dispute between a male and female that was physical. The victim was assaulted by her husband. The husband fled the scene prior to police arrival.
07-07-14 12:32 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Robbery
Unit block W. Baltimore Ave. – Police were dispatched to the Wells Fargo Bank for a report of a robbery. Police responded and spoke to witnesses and collected evidence. Investigation to continue.
07-07-1420:01 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – All other-threats
200 block N. Maple Ave. – Responded to a report of domestic between father and daughter. The daughter was arrested for threats against her father.
07-08-1402:59 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell- Disorderly conduct
Unit block W. Baltimore Ave. – One cited for possession of small of amount of marijuana.
07-07-1420:58 hours – Ptl. T. Selimis – Theft – $50 to $200 from auto
200 block Owen Ave. – On arrival the victim reported he discovered the rear driver side window of his vehicle was shattered. Taken from the vehicle was a carton of cigarettes.
07-08-1408:18 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Criminal mischief to auto
100 block E. Essex Ave. – The victim reports that an unknown actor(s) caused damage to the driver’s side rear window. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.
07-08-1423:52 hours – Ptl. T. Selimis – Robbery – armed- firearm-highway
Unit block W. Greenwood Ave. – Police were dispatched for two males fighting in the street. Upon arrival police could hear a male yelling. The victim advised that he was robbed and the actors drove off. Area was checked with negative results.
07-09-1403:34 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Curfew law- male
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – Officer observed the offender, a 17year old male in the store. The juvenile was taken into custody. The mother of the juvenile was contacted and responded to LPD. The juvenile offender was released to his mother after she signed an acknowledgement of curfew violation.
07-10-1407:30 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft $50 to $200 from auto
The reporting party stated that his wife’s vehicle was entered overnight. The driver’s side rear window was broken out. The items taken from the vehicle were discovered at a different location and returned to the victim.
07-12-1400:02 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell- Theft-attempted- from auto
100 block Marlyn Ave. – The victim reported his vehicle was broken into this evening. Nothing reported missing at this time. The doors to the vehicle were unlocked.
07-12-1408:20 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Theft- under $50 – from auto
100 Lansdowne Ct. – Report of a vehicle entered. The front passenger side window of the vehicle was smashed out. The victim stated that nothing appeared to be missing.
07-12-14 11:30 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Fraud -credit cards, ATM
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – The victim came to LPD to report an unauthorized charge on his credit card. The victim believes that it was an employee at a business where he had purchased a vehicle.
07-12-14 18:01 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft- under $50 – from auto
100 block Eldon Ave. – The victim reported money taken from his vehicle sometime over the last week. The victim reported that he believes his doors were locked.
07-13-1408:44 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft- $50 to $00 – from auto
Unit block W. Greenwood Ave. – the victim reports her vehicle entered. It appeared as though the actor gained entry by prying the passenger side window, leaving the window shattered. The only missing item was a pair of sunglasses.
07-13-14 10:44 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft – under $50 – from auto
100 block W. Albemarle Ave. – The victim reports her unlocked vehicle was entered overnight. The interior of the vehicle was in disarray and approximately $20.00 worth was change was missing.
07-13-14 17:33 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft- $50 to $200
100 block E. Essex Ave. – The victim reports an unknown actor stole a decorative screen from the rear of her residence. The approximate value of the item was $80.00.
07-13-1420:06 hours – Ptl. T. Selimis – Theft- $50 to $200 – bicycle
Unit block W. Stratford Ave. – Police were dispatched for a bicycle discovered stolen in the past 30 minutes. Police checked the area, but were unable to locate an actor. The bicycle was recovered a block from the victim’s home.
