Police activity week of 07-06-15 through 07-12-15

07-06-15 14:00 hours – Sgt. K. Rutherford – Rape by force
Location removed to protect victim – Report of a rape of an eight year old child. Initial report was filed by CYS and Collingdale Police. The father of the child is the suspected rapist.

07-06-15 15:23 hours – Ptl. c. Parker – Theft- $50 to $200 -retail theft
100 block E. Baltimore Ave. – Two juveniles taken into custody for retail theft. After being processed one released to her mother, one transported to juvenile detention.

07-06-15 13:40 hours – Ptl. C. Parker – Disorderly conduct
Unit block E. Baltimore Ave. – The victim reports her Iphone missing, she stated she dropped it on the parking lot. The phone was eventually recovered and the offender was cited to disorderly conduct.

07-06-15 18:45 hours – Ptl. c. Parker – Theft- $50 to $200-bicydes
100 block Walton PI. – The victim reports her grandson’s Maroon mountain bike was stolen from her backyard.

07-07-15 10:00 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Harassment
Unit block Mansfield Rd. – The victim came to LPD to report a pattern of harassment toward him. He stated that he is being harassed by his estranged wife’s boyfriend. A citation will be issued to the offender.

07-07-15 15:45 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft- $50 to $200 from auto
Unit block E. Stratford Ave. – While investigating a previous offense this officer was able to locate the property owner of items recovered upon the arrest of an offender. The victim stated that he vehicle was entered approximately the first week of June.

07-07-1515:45 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft- $50 to $200 from auto
Unit block E. Stratford Ave. – Property owner reports his vehicle had been broken into around the first week of June, 2015. He reports his iPhone touch and charger cored were taken. The offender in this case is in custody and the victim’s property was recovered.

07-08-15 19:00 hours – Ptl. C. Craig – Theft- $200 & over
100 block Windermere Ave. – The victim reports the theft of an envelope containing money that was on her door. She also reports two bicycles taken from her garage.

07-11-15 18:16 hours – Ptl. C. Parker – Burglary-forced entry-residence
Unit block Linden Ave. – The realtor reports copper pipe removed from a vacant residence.

07-11-15 19:10 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft- $200 & over
100 block Owen Ave. – The victim reports the loss of her PNC debit card. There is a suspect in the offense. This investigation will continue.

07-12-15 14:09 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Criminal mischief to autos
100 block Owen Ave. – The reporting party states her boyfriend’s vehicle’s passenger window was broken.

07-12-1522:46 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft- $50 to $200 from auto
200 block N. Highland Ave. – The victim’s unlocked vehicle was entered. There is a witness to this offense. Police checked, for the subject with negative results.
