07/22/2019 07:30 – THEFT FROM VEHICLE
EAST GREENWOOD AVE.
Police were dispatched to E. Greenwood Avenue for a report of a theft from motor vehicle. Upon arrival, officer spoke with the victim who advised she found property missing from her vehicle. Her insurance card and medical paperwork were missing.
07/22/2019 10:18 – THEFT FROM VEHICLE
Police were dispatched to Highland Avenue for a report of a theft from motor vehicle. Upon arrival, officer spoke with the victim who advised he found property missing from his vehicle. The vehicle was parked in his driveway. He advised a black back pack containing SEPTA manuals and route books as well as some other various books inside the vehicle were taken.
07/23/2019 06:24 – THEFT OF VEHICLE
Police responded to Crawford for a motor vehicle theft discovered. Officer made contact with the victim who reported that her husband’s vehicle was stolen from their driveway sometime overnight. The victim also reported that her vehicle had also been rifled through.
07/24/2019 14:07 – RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY
EAST BALTIMORE AVE.
Pursuant to traffic stop on a stolen vehicle, three female occupants were taken into custody. In addition to the stolen vehicle, one female was in possession of marijuana. The three are also suspects in numerous retail thefts in the tricounty area.
07/24/2019 18:46 – BURGLARY
Police were dispatched to Lansdowne Court for a Burglary Discovered. Officers met the victim who states that she discovered that her purse was missing from the sun room. When she returned home, she went down to her basement and noticed that her back basement door was slightly open, with the window attached to the door, pushed in.
07/25/2019 16:30 – THEFT FROM BUILDING
WEST STRATFORD AVE.
Police were dispatched for a theft report. Upon arrival, officer met with the victim who advised that on Friday July 19th, 2019 he purchased a cell phone from Sprint Wireless. Sprint Wireless reportedly sent the package containing his new cell phone through UPS. On today’s date, when the victim still hadn’t received the new cellular phone, he contacted Sprint Wireless and they advised him that the phone had been successfully delivered on Monday July 22nd, 2019. The victim believes that the package containing the cell phone had been stolen sometime during the daylight hours.
07/26/2019 19:19 – RETAIL THEFT
NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.
Police responded to the retail theft at a business on N. Lansdowne Ave. An unknown amount of chips and candy were taken by two black male actors.
07/26/2019 17:25 – THEFT FROM AUTO
WEST PLUMSTEAD AVE.
Police were dispatched for a report of theft from a vehicle. Upon arrival, officer spoke with victim who advised his black laptop bag containing a DELL work laptop computer was missing from his mini – van.

SOUTH LANSDOWNE AVE.
Police were dispatched to S Lansdowne Ave for a report of a theft by employee discovered. Officers responded and made contact with the store owner. Owner dismissed employee and will decide if charges will be filed.
07/27/2019 02:45 – DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
BALTIMORE & ARDMORE AVE.
Police were dispatched to Ardmore and Baltimore Avenue for a report of a two vehicle accident. Officers responded and investigated two separate accidents. One male and one female were arrested for DUI.
07/27/2019 05:34 – MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
Police were dispatched to Jackson Ave. for a report of a stolen vehicle that had just occurred. Dispatcher advised that the keys were with the vehicle. The vehicle was reported to be last seen traveling east bound on E. Plumstead Ave., heading towards Marshall Rd. Vehicle recovered by Upper Darby Police after a short pursuit. A juvenile male, who is also a suspect in 2 previous robberies that night, was taken into custody.
07/28/2019 00:25 – NARCOTICS POSSESSION
NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.
Police were dispatched toN. Lansdowne Avenue for a theft that just occurred. The subjects were located on Stewart Ave. and while searching one subject, a small amount of marijuana was located. Charges pending.
