Police Blotter 07-15-19 to 07-21-19


07/15/2019 20:39 – THREATS
WEST ALBEMARLE AVE

Police were dispatched for a domestic. Further information was that the exgirlfriend came to the house making threats. Upon arrival, officer spoke with the victim and witnesses who reported observing the female striking the victim and “keying” the victim’s car. The female will be charged accordingly.


07/15/2019 19:30 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF TO AUTOMOBILE
WALSH RD.

Police were contacted by the victim in regards to damage to her vehicle. She advised that on 7/11/19 at approx 0730, she observed what appeared to be key marks on the passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle was legally parked on Walsh Rd.


07/16/2019 17:30 – MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
GLENTAY AVE.

At the above date and time police were dispatched to Glentay Avenue for report of a stolen vehicle that had just occurred. Three juvenile offenders were taken into custody.


07/18/2019 20:15 – THEFT
WEST BALTIMORE AVE.

The victim came to Lansdowne Police Department to report the theft of her wallet and phone from her vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot located on W Baltimore Ave. She additionally wanted to report unauthorized transactions with her debit card following the theft of her wallet.


07/18/2019 19:36 – THEFT
LANSDOWNE COURT

The victim sent a Facebook message to the Lansdowne Police Facebook page reporting that she caught a person stealing a package from her porch on her Ring.com doorbell camera on July 16th, 2019 at approximately 1702hrs. The victim is away on vacation and stated that she would come in to make a report in person when she returns.


07/19/2019 09:11 – VANDALISM
WEST PLUMSTEAD AVE.

Police were dispatched for a report of vandalism discovered. The victim reported rocks being thrown through his windows while he was away. There was damage to a door also from the rocks.


07/19/2019 20:54 – ROBBERY
BERKLEY AVE

Police were dispatched for a report of a robbery that occurred about 20 minutes prior. Officer responded and made contact with the mother of the victim. He stated to the officer that he was on his bike at the corner of Owen Ave and Berkley Ave when 4 juveniles approached him, put him in a headlock and took his bicycle. Investigation to continue.


07/20/2019 17:02 – NARCOTICS POSSESSION
WEST BALTIMORE AVE.

While on routine patrol, officer observed a vehicle traveling West on Baltimore and Windermere Avenue. Officer conducted a vehicle stop at Baltimore and Scottdale Rd due to expired registration. The driver was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia in plain view. Subject taken into custody.


07/21/2019 01:19 – TRESSPASSING
NORTH HIGHLAND AVE.

Lansdowne Police received a report of a burglary interrupted on N. Highland Ave. On arrival, the victim was waiting outside, she stated that she came home and discovered that the lights and television in her apartment were on and that the deadbolt that can only be locked from the inside was engaged. She believed that someone could be in her apartment. Officer made entry through the window and opened the front door. The defendant was located in the bed and arrested. Subject is known to the victim.


07/21/2019 16:01 – DRUG EQUIPMENT VIOLATION
WEST BALTIMORE AVE.

At the above date and time police were dispatched to the West Baltimore Avenue for a report of a fraudulent prescription. After investigation, one subject was taken in to custody.
