Police activity week of 06-24-13 through 06-30-13

06-25-13 14:00 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell – Burglary-forced entry-residence- day
Unit block E. Windermere Ter. – Dispatched for report of a burglary discovered. On arrival spoke with the victim. The victim states she was out of the house for approximately one hours and when she returned she noticed two doors, both on the first floor, were partially open and had been closed when she left. Missing from the home was some of the victim’s jewelry. Forcible entry was made through the locked rear/basement door.


06-28-13 00:09 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Criminal mischief
Unit block Schappet Ter. – the victim reports that approximately 45 minutes prior to notifying police a group of juveniles had thrown rocks threw his second floor window. The victims’ daughter did have a confrontation with a group of male juveniles. The one daughter admitted to throwing a rock at the group and the group began to throw racks back. Cost of the window approximately $260.00. Group was not located.


06-28-13 11:05 hours – Sgt. B. Eidell – Burglary-forced entry-residence – unknown time
100 block Woodland Ave. – Received to meet the realtor at the residence in reference to a burglary discovered. Upon arrival this officer met the realtor. The reporting party/realtor stated he received a call from a realtor showing the property that the home had been burglarized. The key lock box was missing from the property railing. The actor/s attempted to remove a stove from the kitchen but was unsuccessful. A check of the basement revealed that the actor/s had cut and removed most of the copper pipe. Estimated loss $1,000.00.


06-29-13 23:35 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Criminal mischief to auto
100 block E. Marshall Rd. – On arrival spoke with the victim and her husband. After returning from the movies they discovered that someone had spray painted the victims auto. There was white spray paint on the left rear quarter panel, the left rear tail light and the rear bumper of the vehicle. At this time there are no known suspects or witnesses to this offense.
