Police activity week of 06-04-12 through 06-10-12

06-05-12 10:26 hours – Ptl. M. McGinnis – Theft- $200 & over from auto
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – the victim came to police headquarters to report that three prescriptions , that he had filled at CVS, were taken from his vehicle while he was in the Wawa.

06-05-12 11:34 hours – Ptl. R. Zubriski – Theft- $200 & over from building
100 block W. Baltimore Ave. – The victim reported items of jewelry and prescription pills were taken from her apartment. No forced entry to the apartment. The victim states over the weekend her boyfriend and another man were in the apartment. The boyfriend did confront the male when he was found sneaking around the victim’s bedroom.

06-05-12 17:51 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – Theft $200 & over from building
100 block E. Essex Ave. – the reporting party states her son’s cell phone was stolen earlier today. The victim states while playing basketball a black male took his cell phone. Call phone was a 16 gigabyte Iphone 4S black in color. Value $299.00.

06-06-12 09:14 hours – Ptl. S. Nick – Theft- $50 to $200 retail theft
100 block E. Baltimore Ave. – Received a call from CVS for a shop lifter. ON arrival the offender was taken into custody and will be charged appropriately. Further investigation revealed an active warrant for Montgomery County. Montgomery County was notified of this department’s arrest.

06-09-12 00:55 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Robbery-armed-firearm-highway
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – While on patrol heard a commotion, the noise seemed to be in area of Wawa building. This officer heard voices and what sounded like someone being punched or slapped. Two males came hurrying out of the passageway between the building and the fence. Both males stated they had just been robbed and the actors had guns. They stated three males accosted them and took items from them. Check area with negative results for the actors. Investigation to continue.

06-10-12 19:20 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Drive under influence-alcohol
N. Lansdowne Ave. – Police received a report of a reckless operator north bound on Lansdowne Avenue. The vehicle was located, swerving between the double yellow line and curb. Vehicle stop was initiated. Due his continued erratic driving the offender was stopped and taken into custody and will be charged appropriately.
