Police Blotter 06/18/18 to 06/24/18

06/18/2018 07:15 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF SOUTH UNION AVE.
Police received a call reporting criminal mischief to the fence at the Lansdowne Borough Yard. Upon arrival at the yard, there was one section of the fence that had been cut from top to bottom creating a hole large enough for a grown man to fit through.


06/18/2018 18:38 – TRAFFIC OFFENSES NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.
Lansdowne Police were dispatched to N Lansdowne Ave, for a hit and run of a pedestrian. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim who stated that she was waiting for her cousin to pick her up and walked up to a vehicle she thought might be his. She stated that the occupant of the vehicle was counting bags of heroin. The male also had cash and cell phones on his lap. When the male saw her, he left the area at a high rate of speed heading south on Lansdowne Ave. As the vehicle pulled away, the rear tire ran over the victim’s feet. Medical treatment refused.


06/20/2018 21:25 – THEFT FROM VEHICLE MANSFIELD & PLUMSTEAD AVE.
The victim responded to police headquarters to report a theft from his vehicle. He states that he had parked his vehicle on the corner of Mansfield Avenue and Plumstead Avenue at approximately 17:00hrs to cut some lawns on that block. When he went back to his truck at approximately 18:00hrs, he noticed that his cell phone and US Currency were missing.


06/20/2018 22:34 – THEFT FROM BUILDING NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.
Police responded to N. Lansdowne Avenue for a report of a retail theft that had just occurred. The male suspect leaned over the counter and stole a carton of cigarettes.


06/20/2018 16:15 – LITTERING WEST BALTIMORE AVE.
A resident of Wildman Arms saw a W/M in a black truck dumping yard debris and other waste onto their property. Investigation to continue.


06/21/2018 09:09 – THEFT FROM VEHICLE WINDERMERE AVE.
Officer met with victim who reported a theft from vehicle. He parked in front of his house at about 1800 on Wednesday night (6/20/18). At about 2300, he moved the car onto his driveway. This morning, when he went to get his computer from the car, he realized that his lap-top bag was missing.
