06/17/2019 05:52 – WEAPONS OFFENSE
WEST ESSEX AVE.

Police were dispatched to the area of W. Essex Avenue for a report of a suspicious male checking door handles of vehicles. The reporting party states that the suspicious male was last seen walking east on Essex towards Mansfield. Officer conducted a ped stop on a male matching the description provided in front of a home on W. Essex Avenue. Subject was in possession of a hand gun and was taken into custody.


06/17/2019 09:19 – THEFT FROM VEHICLE
WEST ESSEX AVE.

Police dispatched for a theft from vehicle which occurred overnight. The victim advised that on Sunday June 16th, 2019 at approximately 1700hrs, she parked her vehicle in her driveway. She advised that she was removing items from the vehicle and may not have locked the vehicle upon unloading her items. On today’s date, victim advised that she had discovered that her vehicle had been entered sometime overnight and that her wristlet, which contained approximately $7.00 -$8.00 in U.S. Coinage, was missing.

NORTH LANSDOWNE AVE.

Police met with the victim at his business who reported that his cleaning lady called him on Saturday 6 I 15 I 19 to inform him that one of the display speakers was missing from the front counter. Having known the speaker was not sold, the complainant responded to the store. Taken was a $25.00 Bud light speaker.


06/18/2019 22:45 – DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
BALTIMORE & OWEN AVE.

While on routine patrol in the area of E. Baltimore Ave and N. Lansdowne Ave, officer observed a vehicle traveling west bound on E. Baltimore Ave. A records check through Penn DOT showed that the listed vehicle’s registration was suspended. Officer stopped the listed vehicle at W. Baltimore Ave at Owen Ave. ‘!;he offender was subsequently found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and driving under the influence. The offender was processed and released.


06/20/2019 10:54 – 119 THEFT FROM BUILDING
EAST PLUMSTEAD AVE.

Victim reported a package from Amazon was stolen from the front of his residence. Amazon delivered the package at 1241 hours on 06 I 19 I 19 and left the package out front of the property. The victim discovered the package was stolen on today’s date.


06/21/2019 03:26 – LOITERING & PROWLING
ELDON & BALTIMORE AVE.

Lansdowne Police received a report of two suspicious males possibly entering vehicles on Eldon Ave last seen headed towards Baltimore Ave. Two males matching the description were stopped on E. Stewart Ave at N. Lansdowne Ave approximately 30 minutes later. The witness was transported to the scene and positively identified the two suspects.


06/21/2019 18:14 – RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY
BALTIMORE & WYCOMBE AVE.

A traffic stop involving a stolen vehicle at the intersection of E. Baltimore Ave and Wycombe Ave. One adult male was taken into custody.


06/21/2019 16:00 – FRAUD
NORTH MAPLE AVE.

The victim contacted the Lansdowne Police Department in reference to being a victim in a fraud. The victim described the fraud and it appears that it was a “grandchild in distress” scam. The victim was deceived into thinking that her grandson was involved in a motor vehicle accident in which he was at fault and there was a personal injury. The “grandson” then had an attorney speak to the victim and it was explained that if the victim sent $9,000.00 that the attorney could get the case dropped without there ever being a record of it. The victim sent $9,000.00 cash to an address in Lansdowne.


06/21/2019 07:22 – MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
NORTH MAPLE AVE

At the above date and time police were dispatched to North Maple Avenue for a report of a stolen vehicle discovered. Vehicle recovered later that morning in East Lansdowne.


06/22/2019 10:01 – BURGLARY
EAST WINDERMERE TERR.

At the above date and time, police were dispatched to East Windermere terrace for a report of a theft of an iPad discovered. Upon arrival, officer was met with the victim and it was determined that the theft had occurred as a result of a burglary at the residence.


06/22/2019 22:02 – DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
UNION & BALTIMORE AVE.

Lansdowne Police were dispatched to the area of Union Ave and Baltimore Ave for a single vehicle accident into a pole. An accident scene was discovered in front of 20 S Union Ave. After investigation, subject was taken into custody for Driving Under the Influence and related charges.


06/23/2019 02:32 – SEXUAL ASSAULT
RUNNEMEDE & WEST LACROSSE AVE.

The police in Yeadon and Darby Borough were dispatched to a series of areas for a disturbance. After checking these areas, a Darby Police Officer called the complainant back and learned that she was calling about the area of Runnemede Avenue and West LaCrosse Avenue. The Lansdowne Police responded to this area and a woman reported that she had been assaulted. Investigation continues.


06/23/2019 10:45 – THEFT FROM VEHICLE
WEST ESSEX AVE.

At the above date and time, police were dispatched to West Essex Avenue for a report of a theft from a vehicle discovered. Victim was unsure if vehicle was locked.


06/23/2019 12:22 – RETAIL THEFT
EAST BALTIMORE AVE.

Police were dispatched to a business located on E. Baltimore Ave. for report of a retail theft that had just occurred. While enroute, radio informed us that the actor got into a blue Jeep. The driver of the vehicle was reported to be a white female and the actor that stole the merchandise was reported to be a white male. Upon arrival we checked the area but did not locate the vehicle or the actors. We spoke with the witness and learned that the actor had stolen Ensure.

WEST PLUMSTEAD AVE

Police dispatched to a report of a stolen vehicle discovered. Vehicle later recovered in Philadelphia.


06/23/2019 13:05 – RETAIL THEFT
EAST BALTIMORE AVE.

While on scene taking a retail theft report at a business, police observed another retail theft in progress. One male offender was taken into custody.


06/23/2019 17:54 – ROBBERY
EAST BALTIMORE AVE.

At the above date and time, police were dispatched to East Baltimore Avenue for a report of a robbery with a knife. Additional information was that there was a 30 minute time delay between the robbery and the call to 911. Upon arrival officers met with the involved parties.


06/23/2019 17:18 – ROBBERY
WEST BALTIMORE AVE

Police dispatched to a strong arm robbery at a business on West Baltimore Ave, time delay was approximately three minutes. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim/ cashier who advised that the actor approached her at the register and provided her with a hand written note which indicated that she should give him the money or he would kill her. Investigation to continue.
