06/11/2019 04:52 – CURFEW VIOLATION
BELMONT & GLENTAY AVE.

On the above date and time, officers responded to a report of a group of juveniles attempting to get into vehicles on the 200 block of W Plumstead Avenue. A juvenile female was located in the area and cited for curfew violation.


06/11/2019 00:55 – NARCOTICS VIOLATION
BALTIMORE & HIGHLAND AVE.

A vehicle stop resulted in the recovery of a small amount of suspected marijuana. All subjects released from the stop and offender will be mailed a citation.


06/11/2019 04:26 – ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
WEST ESSEX AVE.

On the above date and time, police were dispatched to the area of W Essex A venue for a report of an attempted theft from a motor vehicle that just occurred. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim who advised he was alerted by his neighbor of someone being in his vehicle. Officer observed a silver sedan parked in the driveway with the glove compartment and center console open and clearly rummaged through.


06/11/2019 15:58 – THEFT FROM AUTO
EAST STEWART AVE.

Theft from vehicle occurred in a driveway on E. Stewart Avenue between 06/10/19 at 21:30 hours and 06/11/19 at 08:00 hours. No signs of forced entry. Reporting party unsure if doors were locked. Taken was loose change from the center console.


06/11/2019 09:35 – ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
SOUTH LANSDOWNE AVE.

The victim came to the Lansdowne police dept. to report that her vehicle had been rifled through. She added that the vehicle was parked in the parking lot of her apt. complex on 6 I 10 I 2019. She discovered that her vehicle was rifled through overnight and the gas cap was also left opened.


06/11/2019 22:12 – CRIMINAL MISCHIEF TO AUTOMOBILE
NYACK AVE.

Dispatched for criminal mischief just occurred. Once out the reporting party indicated that there were five juveniles; four male, one female, all around 14 years old. They were in the area of his driveway when one of them threw a rock and shattered the glass in the rear hatch of the vehicle while it was parked in the driveway.


06/12/2019 18:33 – THEFT
WEST ESSEX AVE.

Police responded to a theft discovered. On arrival, the victim reported that a mattress was delivered to his home this afternoon and when he got home, it was gone. He stated that he had been sent an e – mail and a text message that the mattress was delivered at 16:54 hours by Fed Ex.


06/13/2019 04:55 – BURGLARY
EAST BALTIMORE AVE.

The complainant and the witness came to the Lansdowne Police Station to report that when they arrived for work she discovered that one of the doors to the store was broken and open. Officers then responded to the business and discovered that the glass on the door located on the eastern side of the building was broken, slightly open and unlocked. We checked the inside of the building and discovered that there had been money stolen.


06/13/2019 17:16 – FALSE POLICE REPORTS
ARDMORE AVE.

While on routine patrol officer, observed the offender who appeared to be soliciting on W. Greenwood Ave. Due to recent complaints of solicitors without permits, writer stopped the male to check the status of his Lansdowne Borough Soliciting permit. When officers stopped the offender, he admitted to not having a permit and subsequently provided a false date of birth. The offender was taken into custody and properly identified and released. The offender was charged appropriately.


06/16/2019 11:04 – THEFT FROM AUTO
WALSH RD.

Police were dispatched to Walsh Rd, for a report of a stolen firearm from a vehicle. Police responded to the above listed address where the victim reported that his firearm was stolen from his wife’s vehicle.


06/16/2019 21:43 – THEFT FROM BUILDING
WEST GREENWOOD AVE.

Police were dispatched to W. Greenwood Avenue for a report of a possible domestic in progress. On location the victim states that he was at Harrah’s Casino in Chester PA from approximately 17:00 hrs until 19:00 hrs where he was befriended by a girl he met while playing roulette. The victim reports that they returned to his home where they spent the night. The next morning, he realized that his phone, two casino chips and cash was taken from his apartment.
