Police activity week of 05-30-16 to 06-05-16

05-30-16 04:33 hours- Ptl. J. McGowan- Narcotics-possession- DUI
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave.- Dispatched for a subject down inside of a vehicle. Upon arrival police and EMS made contact with the offender who was taken into custody for DUI. A search yielded marijuana, oxycodone and drug paraphernalia.

06-06-16 09:12 hours- Ptl. J. McGowan- Criminal mischief
100 block Green Ave. PWHS- Dispatched to the high school for vandalism discovered. Upon arrival writer met with the reporting party who discovered the vandalism. A student had written profanity on a hallway wall. The offender was identified and a juvenile petition will be competed for the offender.

06-06-16 11:30 hours- Sgt. J. McCaughan- Fraud
200 block W. Plumstead Ave.- The victim reported she was the victim of a fraud. The victim had booked a vacation trip and the company did not respond to her calls after she paid her money.

06-06-16 18:13 hours- Sgt. K. Kienzle- Theft- $50 to $200-bicycle
The victim reports his bicycle was taken from in front of his garage.

06-06-16 11:15 hours- Ptl. C. Parker- Theft- under $50
100 block Green Ave. PWHS- The reporting party stated that the offender in this report is the same student who is also facing charges of criminal mischief to school property. Theft of an audio speaker from a classroom, the offender was
viewed on surveillance video.

06-06-16 23:44 hours- Sgt. B. Eidell -Theft- attempt-from auto
200 block Green Ave.- The victim reported he observed both his vehicles entered, he did yell at the suspects and they fled. He reports nothing missing from the vehicles.

06-07-16 16:54 hours- Sgt. K. Kienzle- Harassment
Unit block W. Baltimore Ave.- One cited for harassment and one issued a traffic citation for restraint systems.

06-07-16 20:18 hours- Ptl. M. Ammon- Criminal mischief
Unit block Windermere Ave.- Unknown person(s) had thrown trash into the victim’s yard pond and damaged the pond’s water pump.

06-07-16 23:53 hours- Ptl. M. Ammon- Burglary-attempt-residence
Unit block E. Stratford Ave.- The victim reports an attempt to enter her residence. There appeared to be pry marks on the door and door frame adjacent to the lock. No entry was made.

06-09-16 00:12 hours- Sgt. C. Schiazza- DUI
Unit block N. Union Ave.- One taken into custody as a result of a citizen report of a drunk driver hitting the curb.

06-10-16 02:46 hours- Sgt. C. Schiazza- M.V. theft
100 block W. Plumstead Ave.- As a result of a crash, UDPD recovered a vehicle stolen out of Lansdowne. The victim reports the vehicle was taken from the front of the residence, the keys were in the vehicle and the vehicle was unlocked. The offenders fled the accident scene.

06-10-16 09:20 hours- Sgt. K. Kienzle- Theft- $200 & over from auto
100 block Drexel Ave.- The victims vehicle had been entered overnight, several items reported missing.

06-10-16 10:53 hours- Sgt. J. McCaughan- Theft- $50 to $200 from auto
Unit block Ardmore Ave.- The victim’s reported by phone that their vehicles were entered overnight while they were parked, secured and unattended in front of their residence.

06-10-16 10:16 hours- Ptl. J. McGowan- Disorderly conduct
Unit block W. Baltimore Ave.- The offender was cited for possession of drug equipment.

06-10-16 17:00 hours- Sgt. J. McCaughan- Theft- $200 & over from auto
Unit block W. Windermere Ave.- The victim reports her vehicle entered and several items missing from the car.

06-10-16 17:18 hours- Ptl. C. Parker- Disorderly conduct
100 block E. Plumstead Ave.- One offender cited for disorderly behavior after a traffic stop.

06-10-16 22:33 hours- Ptl. D. Schiazza- Loitering/prowling at night
100 block S. Lansdowne Ave.- Offender charged after being identified by complainant as being in complex parking lot for no valid reason.

06-11-16 11:51 hours- Ptl. J. McGowan- Theft- $50 to $200
Unit block S. Lansdowne Ave.- The victim reports his cell phone stolen from the library.
