Police activity week of 05-28-12 through 06-03-12
05-28-12 04:08 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Public Drunkenness
200 block Hansell Rd. – Received a call for a domestic dispute. On police arrival the offender was sitting on the front porch with her head down. She appeared to be passed out as she was very difficult to wake up and when awoke, her speech was extremely slurred and she had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on her person. The offender was arrested for public drunkenness and held until she sobered up.
05-28-12 16:22 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Liquor law-underage
Unit block S. Union Ave. – The offender was stopped and detained after a suspicious person was reported in the area. The offender was placed into custody after the discovery of two bottles of Jose Cuervo Margarita bottles sticking out of his pockets. The offender’s foster father was notified and did pick up the offender. Citation was issued.
05-28-12 23:07 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Theft- $200 & over from auto & Criminal mischief to auto
100 block E. Plumstead Ave. – While at her sister’s residence the victim, upon leaving, discovered had been broken into. The left front operator side window had been broken. The victim’s AT&T Apple Iphone 4GS was taken from the vehicle. A rock was found on the front seat of the vehicle.
05-30-12 17:05 hours – Sgt. J. Eisenhart – Robbery-strong arm-highway
100 block E. Plumstead Ave. -The victim reports he was assaulted and robbed of his cell phone while outside of Pantry 1 store. The cell phone was a Samsung Intensity II. According to the victim there were three offenders all ran into Upper Darby after the attack.
05-30-12 20:10 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Theft- $200 & over-all other
Unit block Schappet Ter. – The victim reported her washing machine was taken from her front porch sometime between 0800 & 1700 hours today’s date.
06-01-12 11:30 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Disorderly conduct
100 block Green Ave. (PWHS) – While at PWHS on a follow up investigation a student reported she was assault by another student. The victim/student states a male student pushed her neck with a lock, pulled her hair and punched her in the face. The offender had left the building. This offense will be carried as a disorderly conduct.
06-02-12 06:23 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – MV theft
200 block Braddock Ave. – Victim states his 2005 burgundy Hummer H2 was stolen from the street in front of his residence. The victim’s vehicle was equipped with Onstar. The vehicle was located in Philadelphia and a suspect was apprehended in the vehicle.
06-03-12 09:04 hours – Plt. T. Selimis -Theft- $200 & over- auto accessories
Unit block Bartram Ave. – Several items taken from victims vehicle: bags of clothing & fishing gear.
The victim will make a list of any other items discovered missing from the vehicle.
06-03-12 22:07 hours – Ptl. J. McGowan – DUI
Lansdowne & Baltimore Aves. – After making a vehicle stop on a traffic violation, is was ascertained the driver/offender was under the influence of alcohol. The offender did fail field tests and was taken into custody. He will be charged appropriately.
