Police activity week of 05-26-14 through 06-01-14
05-25-1423:40 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Disorderly conduct
Madison Rd. – One female offender cited for disorderly conduct due to her uncooperative and belligerent behavior after being confronted for not paying train fare.
05-26-14 12:30 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Disorderly conduct
Bartram Ave. – Offender will be cited by mail for disorderly conduct. The offender did harass and physically touch the victim by poking her in the head and grabbing the back of her neck.
05-26-1423:37 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Burglary-forced entry – residence-night
Unit block Sayers Ave. – The victim’s report their apartment broken into while they were out for the day. Several items were missing.
05-27-1421:52 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Counterfeiting-using
N. Lansdowne & Stewart Aves. – While on a traffic stop, this officer was presented an insurance card which appeared to be counterfeit. Contacted the insurance company who reports that the policy number on the card was not associated with any active policy and the driver does not hold an active policy with the company.
05-28-1408:53 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Harassment
E. Greenwood & N. Highland Aves. – Dispatched for a report of a domestic dispute. Once out, officers located both parties. Through investigation it was learned that the offenders were involved in a domestic dispute that started at the high school and continued onto the street. Both parties will be cited.
05-28-1417:06 hours – Ptl. P. Young – Unauthorized use of MV
100 block E. Essex Ave. – Police were notified that the victim’s vehicle was taken by the victim’s nephew. The victim did not wish for the nephew to be arrested, but did want his vehicle back. Vehicle information was entered into the system.
05-29-14 03:38 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Assaults
N. Maple & Windsor Aves. Did make contact with brothers involved in a physical domestic dispute. The one brother was taken into custody and the victim and his mother will be going to file for a PFA.
05-31-1403:00 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft- attempt – from auto
100 block N. Lansdowne Ave. – Police responded to a vandalism call. On arrival the reporting party stated he heard an odd sound, when he looked out his window he saw a man attempting to smash a car window in the parking lot. Did locate the vehicle owner and she was advised to get an estimate for the damage and notify the police. The actor was not located.
05-31-1409:36 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – MV theft- street-residential
E. LaCrosse Ave. – The victim reports his vehicle was stolen over night. The victims states the vehicle was locked and parked on the street.
