Police activity week of 05-21-12 through 05-27-12
05-21-12 22:17 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Disorderly conduct
100 block Shadeland Ave. – Responded for report of a domestic. On arrival the reporting party stated that the offender was intoxicated and would not leave her residence. The offender became very belligerent with police and the victim’s family. Due to the behavior of the offender she was taken into custody.
05-22-12 06:37 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Criminal mischief
Unit block Linden Ave. – On arrival the victim stated that at approximately 0130 hours today’s date she heard a loud band coming from the front of the house. The victim thought the noise was thunder and did not bother to check. This morning the victim discovered that her front window was broken. Three oranges were by the window.
05-22-12 12:20 hours – Ptl. R. Zubriski – Trespassing of real property
100 block Shadeland Ave. – Offender was taken into custody after returning to a property where she was arrested the previous evening. The offender was advised the previous night not to return to the property. The offender was also calling the victims workplace. Offender taken into custody and will be charged appropriately.
05-22-12 21:07 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Theft- $50 to $200 bicycles
Unit block Price Ave. – The victim reports his son’s bicycle stolen from the front yard of his residence. The bike is a white and red Raleigh mountain bike.
05-25-12 01:41 hours – Ptl. C. Schiazza – Criminal mischief to automobiles
200 block Green Ave. – Victim reports she observed the offender slash the left front tire of her vehicle. Tire damaged to point where it will need to be replaced. Offender was contacted and notified she will be receiving citations in the mail for criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
05-25-12 09:59 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Criminal mischief to automobiles
200 block Windermere Ave. – Victim reports both tires on the passenger side of her vehicle were flat. The vehicle was parked on the street. Appears to be a small slit on the side of each tire.
05-25-12 23:23 hours – Ptl. K. McDermott – Disorderly conduct
Unit block Windermere Ave. – Police responded to report of a domestic. On arrival separated the parties. While speaking with the offender on the front porch he suddenly stood up and punched the mail box yelling obscenities. The offender was placed into custody and will be cited appropriately.
05-26-12 07:18 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – All other vandalism
Unit block Ardmore Ave. – Dispatched for criminal mischief discovered-plants up rooted overnight.
Victim states some time overnight unknown actors pulled our knocked over a number plants on his front lawn/garden. Damage estimated at about $3,000.00 including the cost of the plants and repair replacement.
05-27-12 06:08 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Theft $50 to $200 – from auto
Unit block W. Baltimore Ave. – Reporting party called police after witnessing a subject on the parking lot walking from vehicle to vehicle looking into the cars and trying handles, then entered a blue Ford Taurus got out & tried another vehicle. The reporting party believes the subject took something from the Taurus. Located the vehicle in question, the glove compartment was open and contents of the glove box were on the passenger floor. 0910 hours 5/28/12 victim reported her Garmin GPS unit missing from her vehicle.
