Police activity week of 05-11-15 through 05-17-15

05-11-15 06:03 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Theft- $200 & over
200 block N. Wycombe Ave. – The victim reports an acquaintance took an iPad from his vehicle.

05-12-15 06:43 hours – Ptl. D. Schiazza – Theft-attempted from auto
100 block W. Marshall Rd. – The victim reports that sometime overnight his vehicle was entered. The victim reports nothing missing from the vehicle but did discover minor damage to the interior.

05-12-15 11:08 hours – Sgt. K. Kienzle – Theft $200 & over
Unit block N. Lansdowne Ave. – The victim reports the unauthorized use of his bank card. The victim suspects a man who had worked at his home installing carpet.

05-13-15 21:55 hours – Ptl. L. Albertoli – Assaults
Nyack Ave.- Hayes Playground – Responded to a report of an assault. On arrival the victim reported he was assaulted by a group at the playground. Due the victim’s injuries he was evaluated by the ambulance personnel. Will try to determine the others involved in this offense.

05-14-15 14:05 – Ptl. P. Young – Disorderly conduct
100 block Green Ave. PWHS – Police responded to the PWHS for threats discovered to a teacher. The student was in custody in the office. The student was transported back to the police station, cited and released to his mother.

05-15-15 02:53 hours – Sgt. C. Schiazza – Stolen property-recovered motor

S. Union & Baltimore Aves. – While on patrol I observed Unit 1 with registration violations. A records check revealed that the vehicle was stolen out of Darby.

05-15-15 12:37 hours – Ptl. C. Parker – Harassment
100 block Berkley Ave. – Two offenders cited after a domestic incident.

05-16-1500:18 hours – Sgt. J. McCaughan – Curfew law-juvenile
Bartram Ave. – While on patrol this officer observed several people in Interboro Park after park hours. The people in the park were all juveniles in violation of the Lansdowne Borough curfew. They were all released to a parent or guardian and curfew warnings were issued.

05-16-15 19:05 hours – Ptl. C. Parker – Disorderly conduct
Unit block S. Highland Ave. – Police received a report of an indecent act in progress involving a male and a female on the roof of a business. This officer observed the couple redressing before complying with several requests to exit the roof. Both were cited appropriately and released.

05-17-1501:21- Sgt. B. Eidell- DUI
E. LaCrosse Ave. – Accident related DUI. The offender was transported to the hospital for possible head trauma. This investigation will continue.

05-17-15 13:03 hours – Ptl. C. Parker – Disorderly conduct
100 block Nyack Ave. – One cited for disorderly conduct. The offender was shouting obscenities toward this officer.
